Question:
I have a Reese 24K signature series 5th wheel hitch. I sold my 2006 Silverado 3500 single rear wheel and need an under bed mount kit for my 2015 Silverado 3500 single rear wheel to work with my hitch. Is the RP30868 the correct kit? Also which wiring kit, Truck is prewired for 5th wheel. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
The correct under-bed 5th wheel install kit for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 to accept your Signature Series 24K hitch is indeed the # RP30868 that you referenced. You will also need adapter kit # RP58419.
If your Silverado has bumper-mounted 7-way trailer wiring already you may just need a harness for the truck bed for connection to your 5th wheel. You can use Hopkins # 41157 which plugs in at the existing 7-way and provides 10-feet of harness to reach up to your truck bed.
