Question:
Hello, Extremely interested in purchasing 2two of these axles. Currently replacing/fixing an old car hauler. Would these axles be alright to be used on a car hauler trailer trailer rated for 7000 lbs

Expert Reply:
If you are using 2 of the 3500 pound axles, # T3584F-EZ-8974, then the combined capacity of the axles would be 7,000 pounds. Provided the gross trailer weight does not exceed the axle capacity you could absolutely use them on your car hauler. I have included a link to a video showing installation of an axle for you.
The recommended u-bolt kit for this axle is # APUBR-1. You would need 1 kit per axle.
You would also need leaf springs and potentially a suspension kit. We have different springs rated for 1750 pound each (for 3500 pound axles). I have included a link to them for you. And for a suspension kit we have several options as well. I have included a link to all of them for you as well.
