Distance Between Mounting Holes On Lippert Underchassis Double Bin Storage Unit for RVs

Question:

I just got a 2015 Grand Design Momentum 350M and I need a little more storage, my Question is what is the length of the hanger bracket mounting holes center to center?

I spoke with my contact at Lippert about the Underchassis Double Bin Storage Unit, part # LC236558. They told me that the mounting angle brackets are 1 inch wide.

They gave me the distance from the end of the storage bin to the edge of the mounting angle. I have a photo of the storage bin with the dimensions noted. The distance between the mounting holes is 70-1/2 inches, and the edge of the first mounting bracket is 14-3/4 inches from the outside edge of the bin.

There are three brackets on the top of the frame work two are for attaching to the rv frame what is the center one for and with no center attachment will this frame that holds 200lb sag

Ideally that center bracket also gets attached to a crossmember under the chassis. I reached out to my contact at Lippert and he said NOT using the center bracket won't necessarily reduce the weight capacity, but over time you might notice the storage system droop a bit in the center. If you can't utilize the center brace, I might just try to keep the heavier storage items towards the outside ends of each bin.
