It sounds like you are asking about the length of the pin and clip that will go through you ball mount that is used to hang it from the # S80940. A lot of people confuse the terms ball mount and receiver.

This actually does not come with a pin and clip. You would need to use any of the pin and clips that are designed to fit 2 inch hitches such as the # PC3. This pin and clip is 5-1/8 inches.
