Question:
I want to electrify a Bulldog jack used to raise the tounge on a farm implement. This motor and gear box might work. Is the gear box metal? Do the 4 oblong holes in the gearbox cover go all the way through the gearbox so as to provide a better way to sequre the unit? Thanks.

If you have a set of 12k capacity Bulldog landing gear on your farm implement you could use the # BD1824200100 as a motor if the jack is single speed, or part # BD1824180100 if the jack is 2 speed. This would be a solution if the implement has a gooseneck style of coupler.
If you have an A-frame trailer you would need to upgrade the current jack to a part # BD500187.
The motor of the # BD500161 is available separately, part # BD500359. However, this can't be modified to fit a non-powered jack.
