How to Determine Which Pin Box is on a 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

We have a 2005 Montana 5th wheel model 2980RL. We are interested in the Reese Sidewinder pin box for this fifth wheel. I am an unable to get any information about the model number for the pin box. Visually it appears to be a Lippert. It is the long pin box. The trailer is stored about 2 hours form where we are now so it would be difficult to get you info in a timely manner. Some of the stickers are painted over. Do not know if I can remove the paint without wiping the label info also. You maybe able to get more from them than I. I know its not a lot of info, until I can get back to the Montana, I am just guessing.

There are basically 2 ways to get the pin box information to determine if a Sidewinder will fit. First is to get the information off of the pin box which doesn't seem to be an option. The second is to take some measurements of the pin box and then I can determine if there is a Sidewinder that will fit.

I have included a link to the right that shows the measurements that you will need to take to identify the pin box. Depending on the pin box you may not need to take all of the measurements.
