If your vehicle is stuck in off-road terrain and has lost the traction it needs to escape, this recovery strap will help pull it free. The strap is designed to stretch and recoil. This means that when it is put under tension, the strap stretches until snapping back to its resting length, "slingshotting" the vehicle out of its jam.
This recovery strap has a reinforced loop at either end for securing to the tow vehicle and the recovery vehicle. Once the strap is attached, slowly move the recovery vehicle away from the stuck vehicle. This will initiate the stretch and recoil action and pull the stuck vehicle free.

Today we will be reviewing part # EM59700. This is the Erickson Recovery Tow Strap with reinforced loop ends. The recovery strap is going to work to release stuck vehicles. It's going to feature the nylon, reinforced loop ends that are going to be very long lasting and quick and easy to attach. It's also got the high-tenacity nylon overlay that's going to prevent wear on the pull area. That's the nice, bright yellow area there. It's going to feature heavy duty webbing that is going to stretch an additional 10% once tight.
That is really going to help sling-shot out stuck vehicles. The strap dimensions is going to give us an overall width of 3". We have an overall length of 20'. The webbing strength is rated at 10,000 pounds per inch of width. It's going to have a break strength of 27,000 pounds. The maximum vehicle weight is 13,500 pounds. It is also going to come with a nice little carrying case.
That way you can always keep the strap close at hand. It is also going to feature an attached elastic strap. That way, once you have your recovery strap rolled back up, you can easily wrap that around. It's going to keep it bunched up together and then you can easily store it inside the included carrying case. That's going to do it for our review of part # EM59700.
