You're heading out on a weekend of boondocking and the nearest store will be miles away. No problem. This fridge has room for the essentials: cold drinks, charcuterie snacks, even a pint of ice cream so you're stocked and ready.
You get a full 4.2 cu ft of cold storage. A sealed freezer compartment gives you space for real frozen goods, not just soft ice packs.
This unit runs on 12V or 24V DC power, making it ideal for battery or solar setups. It runs quietly and doesn't rely on shore power.
A flush-mount frame, matte black reversible door, and interior controls give this fridge the sleek look of a residential unit in a compact RV footprint.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Vitrifrigo 4.2 cubic foot mini fridge with built-in freezer. Now folks, this does run on 12 or 24 volts. It's a nice compact mini fridge. It has a sliding flange here on the front to give you that flush or recess mount options.
Now, you're gonna have one, two, three, four, and then two on the bottom panel, five, six. So that would go on the bottom whenever you put it in place for installation. You will need to get that hardware locally. It does not come with it. But the neat thing with this panel, if I zoom in here and show you from the side, you have about an inch to two inches of space that that front fascia can adjust and then will give you those different options as far as how deep you need to recess it and that kind of stuff.
Now, the door hinges can be swapped obviously left or right. And before I get into the interior and more of that stuff, let's go ahead and get some dimensions to make sure this is gonna work for your specific needs. So starting on the front, I'm gonna count the outside of flange to outside of flange, I got 23 1/4 wide. And from the base, if it's sitting level, to the top flange, I got 31 1/4 inches tall, and on a depth. Now, keep in mind this pipe back here sticks out about an inch.
So on my depth, I'm counting that pipe in my measurement. So from the front flange, if I put a straight edge here like I did earlier and it came out here, for that pipe inclusion, I got 22 inches deep. Now, without the flange, I still got that 22 inches deep because that flange was about a 1/16 of an inch thick give or take. So it wasn't adding too much to it. As far as an overall width, without the flange, I got right at 29 3/4.
Or, I'm sorry, 20 3/4. So 20 3/4. The height, I got 29 3/4. And again, that's without the flange, so just up to here versus up to here. So hopefully those dimensions will help you as far as what this fits and your needs. Now, you've got the compressor obviously, you've got the 12 volt or 24 volt wire connector here included. Follow the instructions on hooking that up. They also supply you with two vent covers. So if you have to get ventilation, maybe through a cabinet possibly or something of that nature, they do also mount right up here looks like. But again, follow the instructions, make sure you're putting them where the instructions tell you to put them and how they go placed. So let's get to the inside. So you have two adjustable wire coated shelves, and those can be simply taken out to give you more space. Let me come around to the front here. So again, these can slide out if you want to have more space or you wanna move them up and down, you simply push up on the backside 'cause that locks 'em in, that way they're not sliding around when you're driving around. And then you can simply take them out, put them in the new slot and then put them back down in place. I'm gonna leave them where they're at for now. The freezer, it's got a nice magnetic door. So it's nice, it holds it open. You do have a nice ice tray. It's kind of tiny, but it gets the job done right. And then of course you have a drip tray built in, that way if you're defrosting, that kind of stuff, you don't have to worry about that. Magnetic freezer door shuts again. You've got a nice bright LED light. Again, I don't have power to it now obviously, but it's lighting up super bright inside. You have two of these crisper drawers. And behind the right side crisper drawer, that is where your temperature control knob is back there on the bottom right-hand corner, that black knob. You have one tempered glass shelf. You could potentially move that if you need to. Now, over here on the door, you've got one, two, three door shelves. This middle one, you can actually move down one notch, that way if you need some more height space, you've got these sliders here. There's three of them included. They're plastic. They loop over the top of the door or that drawer, and they just pop in place. So now you can keep stuff from sliding around whenever you're driving around and that kind of thing. And again, there's three of those included. I'm just gonna put it back down here where it was. That would help, you know, keep condiments, soda, beer, whatever you're doing, from going around side to side and whatnot. So a lot of space inside this fridge. The door latch is gonna keep it latched closed. There is a slider up here on both sides. Follow the instructions. You can actually move that for whenever you're storing it so that it doesn't close all the way. It still latches it, but it vents out, that way you're not gonna get mold or mildew buildup inside your fridge. Now, this is made with blown polyurethane foam, so that's gonna help maintain that consistent temperature and reduce energy consumption. Now, like I said, all the shelves, all the drawers and everything, they're gonna be locking in place, so they're not gonna be sliding out. Again, some of them you have to lift up and pull out. Again, follow the instructions for that and you should have no issues. So again, a nice fridge here. I like it. This again is the Vitrifrigo 4.2 cubic foot mini fridge. We have these in a couple of different sizes here at etrailer, and we also have a full size, it's a much bigger one, fridge for you as well if that's what your needs are. So check them out here at etrailer.com as well. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven. Thank you so much for your time. Have a good one.

That's so awesome Tony! I watch a few van-lifers on Youtube, and I think anyone who dives into that lifestyle is amazing and pretty resourceful. Do you have any photos you can share of your set up?
