Michael: Hi, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit for fifth wheel trailer hitches. This kit is compatible with your 2007 through 2019 Toyota Tundra trucks, and it's going to be one part in your fifth wheel hitch set up for your Toyota Tundra.This kit includes your custom brackets and your hardware to attach the brackets to the frame of your Tundra. These brackets do live underneath your bed, attached to the frame of the truck. They will then attach to the rails that sit in the bed of your truck that your fifth wheel hitch attaches to. The rails are not included with this kit, however, you can find some here at etrailer.com.
You can use part number RP58058.And really, this kit, you need the rails to use it. So if you're buying this kit, you probably already have rails from another truck that you're wanting to reuse to save some money. We do highly recommend that if you're doing that, you get new hardware, just to make sure that everything is tightened down correctly and that you're going to be safe. You can find all that hardware here using part number RP58504. Or if you don't have existing rails already, you're wanting to buy the whole kit, we also have that available using part number RP50084-58.The benefit of these custom brackets over your universal bracket systems is that these are designed for your Toyota Tundra.
So there's going to be substantially less drilling involved. And when you are drilling into the frame of your truck, those frames are made out of very hard metal, so it's going to be pretty difficult. The less you can do, the better it's going to be. And because we are going to have these custom brackets, it's going to greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to install our fifth wheel on our Toyota Tundra.These brackets are made of a solid steel, and they have a black powder coat finish to resist any corrosion. And there is a five-year limited warranty offered from Reese.

The brackets arrived in a timely manner. etrailer had a short video which assured potential customers that the brackets would bolt on to my year Toyota but because I have an 8-ft bed and was reusing my existing hitch and rails, I still needed assurance the brackets would work for me. I corresponded by e-mail with etrailer on this question. The etrailer representative I was in contact with requested additional information about my specific hitch and rails which I provided and etrailer confirmed the brackets would work for me. This all happened in a matter of hours. etrailer gave very prompt, accurate service. I attached the brackets, both front and back, and followed the instructions on where to drill through the bed for the rearward brackets and the drill holes in the bed were aligned perfectly with my old rails. The same held true for the front brackets...although I had not cinched them down as they are somewhat (1/2 inch perhaps) moveable. I installed both rails with the hitch in place and torqued the rails down. then torqued the front brackets down. Clearances due to the frame members prevent getting a torque wrench on the front bracket bolts so I just tightened them as much as possible. One person can install the brackets to the frame. It takes two persons to install and tighten the rail bolts. All in all, service was good and the product was good.

I’m a novice handy man and even I can install their equipment with ease. I installed these 5th wheel brackets on my 2008 Tundra a year ago and after watching video and following the instructions, had zero problems installing them! This would get 5 stars as I have not had any issues with the actual product. The instructions were clear and everything fit perfectly on my 2010 Tundra. Minus one star because etrailer neglected to send me the air box relocation bracket and I had to use zip ties.

Great service, the items ordered were exactly what we need to install the B&W 16K Patriot 5th wheel. B&W did not have a mounting kit to fit the 2021 Tundra.
