This vent makes it simple to keep air circulating in and out of enclosed spaces. The sliding lever lets you open or close the vent to control airflow as needed. Four 2" ventilation holes in the back move air through the wall, and you can mount it so the louvers direct air upward or downward. It’s a quick way to add passive airflow without wiring or a fan.
Made with durable, rustproof aluminum front and back plates, this vent stands up to weather, road grime, and moisture. The insert is built from corrosion-resistant zinc-plated steel for extra strength. It’s a solid, lightweight vent that resists damage from frequent exposure to sun, rain, and vibration.
The vent measures 12-1/4" long x 10-1/2" wide and installs using 7/32" mounting holes spaced 2-7/8" apart on top and 3" apart on the sides (center to center). The 2"-diameter ventilation holes line up easily for drilling and cutting. Once installed, it gives a neat, low-profile finish against the wall.
This vent mounts on the outside only, so it works well in setups where you want to manage airflow without bulky hardware inside. Because it doesn’t include mounting hardware, you can choose fasteners that best match your wall material—wood, aluminum, steel, or fiberglass.
With down-facing louvers, the vent blocks most water when closed and still lets fresh air flow when open. It seals tightly enough to prevent noticeable wind noise while allowing minimal air passage under pressure, so it balances ventilation with weather protection.

Please put padding in the corners when mailing. One vent corner was slightly curled under. I was able to straighten it with plyers.
Aluminum, it works handle could lock better in open or close positions.

We used this to cover a small hole in the rock guard on the front of our trailer rather than replace the whole thing. Now we have extra ventilation too. Just have to remember to keep it closed on wet roads!

Looks great as a refrigerator vent on our '53 Airstream Flying Cloud. The aluminum is thin, but seems quality. I like that it has the option to open and close the vents. Just what we were looking for. Good service.

I needed a cap after my tailgate slammed down on mine and broke mine, and cracked my plastic tail gate trim..ordered that too.. But anyway this installed in seconds! I picked out the broken pieces and popped this in w the help of a small hammer ..so easy and I had a strained shoulder when I did it, super fast. Used these to vent a chicken coop I built. When I worked in a trailer sales and service dept we used these to vent reefer trailers so I thought work on my coop. easy to order and fast shipping, good product.
This vent worked well to add ventilation to my aluminum dog box. I added two on the end; one for each compartment. The slide is very smooth and I plan to connect the two so I can open both from either side of my truck. Only thing that would make it better is if it had a template for the vent hole locations.
