Today we're going to take a look a the trailer bearing for 10,000 pound axles. Now this replacement bearing is a high quality tapered roller bearing. It's designed for high speed use. Now most bearings use industry standard numbers. This one the number would be right on the inner ring here, and you can see it's the J205149 and it is designed to fit 10,000 pound axles. On a bearing the critical measurement is the inner diameter which is measured inside to inside right here and the measurements are always in thousandths of an inch, so we do recommend you use a digital caliper just to get the correct readers.
If we do that, you can see, 1.969 would be your inner diameter on this. Now this bearing is designed to fit in the bearing that has bearing race, which is the part number JM205110. This bearing is usually used as the outer bearing for the 090814 hub. That should do it for the review on the trailer bearing for 10,000 pound axles.

Not for marine applications. When I went to repack the bearing this spring they had completely fallen apart and rusted out. There was damage to the spinal and I had to buy a whole new axle.
Product seems to be worth the cost but the way they ship is not. Both bearings and races are put in a shipping envelope with no protection. Don’t like they are left to bounce around in shipping envelope.

I’m guessing they are Chinese made. My 50 year old Timkin USA made bearings are still tighter and roll just as free as these new one. They are a good fit and once I filled them with hi quality EP grease they seemed solid.
Even though Airstream no longer sourced replacement brake parts for my 2003 Airstream trailer, eTrailer had exact replacement brakes, drum/hubs, bearings and seals. Installation of the new parts was easy and quick.
