This replacement auto-lift motor is designed for use in Fan-Tastic Vent roof vents with a 17 rpm motor manufactured in 2014 or after. Exact fit. The spline shaft on the replacement lift motor is metal vs. plastic on the original motor which stripped and cracked, requiring replacement. Anticipate better longevity from this unit.

Working as it should. I was reading reviews on this unit that said to reverse polarity on other sites. No need for that. This is ove course bit faster than the 8 rpm I replaced but the fit is exact. No problem. I'll buy again if the need arises. Nice people to work with and fast shipping.

I think I returned the items and had to replace the entire fan. Replaced with maxxfan 4500
easy to install.
Very good product! Finally, a serious, sturdy product made of metal, not plastic like the old ones. An excellent purchase.
Replaced the original which had stripped coupling. Operates in the power mode okay but doesn't have the option for manual mode that was on the original motor. I liked the manual mode in winter to be able to open it slightly to allow venting without the fan and not allowing rain in.

Still working fine.
Was exactly the items I needed and the installation was easy.
The lift motors have been received and installed on our 5th wheel trailer and are working well. However the shipping container was in bad shape when delivered by UPS. Each was was individual packed in a box and then they both were in one shipping box. That box was in the worst shape I had ever seen. In fact before we opened it we went to the UPS Distribution Center in Sparks NV so they could see it and open it with us in case there was product damage. No product damage was found.
The motor was easy to install. Plug in wires and two screws. The motor runs faster than the old one as is quieter too. I ordered the arm in case I needed it but I didn’t so I have one it if I ever do.

The fan is still running good.
I finally found a replacement motor for my Fantastic Fan. The last one I purchased was too short to properly connect to the gear that raised the cover. I had to manually push on the motor to open the cover, which was a pain in the neck.

The part was a perfect replacement for the oem lift motor. E Trailer's price was the cheapest I found, shipping cost was reasonable (lower than competitors) and I received it promptly as advertised.
My rating is an expectation based on past experience. The product is from FanTastic, and their reputation is already very established. I am expecting the upgrade kit to be a good purchase and welcome addition. The "FIVE" star rating is for etrailer and their service. We've purchased from them in the past, and have never been unhappy. This upgrade kit was delivered several days in advance of my expectations. Thank you, etrailer!
