My motor keeps running when closing fan cover. The cover is closed but keeps running like its open.

Most likely you have an issue with the roof vent's lift motor. If you have a Fan-Tastic roof vent there are a couple options for replacement motors we have one of them available but not the other. To pick out the correct one you'll need to base it off of the shape of the plastic housing. If you have the vent with a diamond-shaped thumb slide you can use the # FVK6010-81. If you have the vent with a pear-shaped plastic housing, unfortunately we no longer have the part that you need.
If you have a different brand of roof vent let me know what you have and I'll see what we can find as a replacement.
