Features to know about

Keep Your Ride Level Under Load: Dual Path Control Handles Uneven Weight

When the load isn’t perfectly balanced—like with a camper or gear stacked on one side—the Firestone Air Command Standard Duty Air Compressor gives you full control to level things out. The dual path system lets you manage two air springs independently or two pairs equally, so you can fine-tune side-to-side or front-to-back balance. The in-cab analog dual-gauge control with a clean white face makes it easy to see exactly where each spring stands. Just push a switch up to inflate or down to deflate for precise setup every time.

Quick Adjustments Onboard: 100 PSI Standard Duty Compressor

No need to stop and reach for an air hose when your load changes. This kit’s onboard standard-duty compressor delivers up to 100 PSI and reacts quickly—filling from 0–30 PSI in 17 seconds and 0–60 PSI in 42 seconds. It runs on 13 amps with a 9 percent duty cycle and moves 0.32 CFM at 100 PSI, giving you reliable adjustments whenever you need them. Designed for light use, it’s perfect for occasional towing, hauling, or camper setups.

Easy In-Cab Operation: Dual-Gauge Analog Control Panel

Checking and adjusting your air pressure is simple with the electric dual-gauge panel that mounts under the dash. The switches control each path separately, so with just a flick you can raise or lower pressure without leaving your seat. The setup includes a relay harness, 30 feet of air line tubing, and all fittings, connectors, and mounting hardware to make installation straightforward.

Compact Build That Fits Where You Need It

The compressor’s small footprint—7-5/8" long × 2-1/8" wide × 4-7/8" tall—means it’s easy to place out of the way but still accessible. With a 5-7/16" × 1-1/2" mounting pattern and 17' wiring harness, you have flexibility to route and secure it neatly. Once installed, it keeps your suspension steady and responsive for a smoother, more confident drive.

Great little air compressor for my 2014 Ram 2500. Nice fit under the bed. Made the truck ride better when towing my fifth wheel and when empty

by:

Putting this in by yourself is a bear when lying on a creeper and a 2019 Chevy Dually doesn't have a lot of options for location. Read that as 1. But it is on and all wired up and working fine. Put airbags on a previous truck years ago without a compressor, I was a poor GI. This is SO much better. Just takes a little time, think it out and plot your path for cabling and hoses to avoid the exhaust.

I gave this product one star because there wasn't a option of 0. One of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. #1. The ECM, or computer, whatever they want to call this thing that runs this system, It is just a monitor. When your air psi drops to low all it does is log a code and tell you you air system has a leak. I would think it would kick on and build the air psi up, nope, it just logs a code and shut down the system until you clear the codes. #2. You have to take off the pump stops above your axle to install the ridiculously stupid system. So I thought ok, there must be bump stops inside the air bags, and ordered it anyway. Well I was wrong. When you take the bump stops off over the axle and you come upon a huge bump as you can do traveling around the good ole USA, the air bag bottom out, so you have the full force of the huge bump you just hit coming down on you axle, not good. We hit a bump that snuck up on us in Florida over by Okeechobee Lake that was possibly the biggest bump I have ever encountered in all my travels, and I swear I though it has cracked my axle, no bump stops to protect it. As soon as I got home I took this lousy system off my truck and put something better on, a much better system.

by:

Great compressor with the option of using the included remote or my cellphone. The two presets allow for quickly switching between normal empty bed setting and the setting for when the 5th wheel is connected.

by:

The compressor gets extremely hot if it runs for even a short while getting the bags up to around 80 pounds. The ECM module also does not retain the last setting if you place the system on switched power. I choose switched power due to how hot the compressor got and am not willing to risk it running nonstop if there was a leak in the system. When I initially installed it there was a small leak and the compressor ran nonstop. There is supposedly a timeout but it ran nonstop until I disconnected it from the battery. I have previously owned an extreme duty system which worked incredibly well.

Great product, easy to install. And it takes the sway completely out. I would recommend this to every one.

by:

This will be the three order of air-rides I have installed ! I'm very please with the shipment and the help of getting the right kites for the jobs! Thanks for your assistance.

by:

Great kit. The only difficulty was choosing a place to install the mini compressor and controller. Instructions were detailed and easy to follow.

by:

Loved how small this air compressor is! Also, it works perfect for our airbags for towing and having the ability to adjust the air on the fly!

by:

I order was delivered sooner than expected , which was great arrived on Friday
installed on Saturday . the hardest part of the install was deciding were to mount the air pump . I have seen were others have mounted it on the spare battery tray easy
place to mount unless you need that spot for a spare battery in the future . the install
instructions were simple and easy to read . I would buy another set of Firestone air bags and air pump in the future when needed . I will send pictures of the installed
products which I have purchased from etrailer
Thanks to Tim and the gang at etrailer

by:

Great must have kit for Class-C and small Class-A Motorhomes! Adjusting my rear air bags is a must for load adjustment and overnight parking on unlevel ground. Thanks to E-Trailers staff & customer service!!! Kevin

by:

This makes life so much easier. Do not have to drag out the little compressor and open the storage doors and do each side of the RV. Now when I am ready to roll, I just look at the gauges and can see how much air I have in each side. I can adjust for weight on the fly and even sometime if I need to raise the back of the RV a little to get into a site. Love it!

by:

Works well but a real pain to install as the airlines have to run from the pump to the interior controller and then back out again to the individual lifts.

by:

This was an easy install. Everything that was needed was included with the kit. I purchased this kit with the air suspension kit for a Ram 350. This made a good truck even better

Still trouble free and easy to use. I have had no issues with it and would buy another if needed.

by:

Great product! FYI The gauge has 2 needles, 1 red and 1 black. They are active all the time, so a quick look at any time will let you know your pressure

by:

This was exactly what we needed to stop our truck with soft shocks from” swimming” while traveling with our truck camper. I would recommend these to anyone with this problem. Great product.

by:

Very quick delivery. Always keep you up on shipping of your order.
Definitely recommend

Works great! Routing air lines into the cab and finding a place to mount the controller was a bit challenging for my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, but the end result is very clean and useful. I should have installed this years ago when I originally put air springs onto this pickup truck. My primary use is to level the load and provide more support for my Lance camper. Adjusting the air spring pressure is much easier and quick now!

  • Rear Suspension Helper Springs for a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 Towing a 5th Wheel Trailer
Hello, I will be happy to help you select some helper springs to improve the ride and level out the truck when you are towing. Timbren springs are an easy install but they will make the ride stiffer when you are not towing. The similar SumoSprings Solo # SSR-207-47 will also level out the truck but will not be as stiff when not towing compared to the Timbren springs. Another option to consider is RoadActive Suspension # RAS3611-HD. Installation is easy with this kit as well. It will...

  • Air Suspension for 2017 Nissan Pathfinder
There is one rear suspension enhancement for your 2017 Nissan Pathfinder, the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4118. These springs can adjust from 5 to 35 psi and will help keep your Pathfinder level from exactly the amount that you haul, at least 500 lbs to no more than 1,000 lbs. For an onboard compressor you can use the Firestone Air Command II # F2178, which is a dual function compressor that allows you to inflate each of the springs individually to help level your ride. • What is the Proper Pin Weight Percentage of the Total Weight for a 5th Wheel Trailer
Definitely false. You want to shoot for the pin weight of a 5th wheel trailer to be about 20% of the loaded weight of the trailer. If the hitch weight of your trailer is 2,000 lbs though that entire pin weight is transferred, not just a portion of the pin weight. This is actually reflected in the weight ratings for 5th wheel trailer hitches (and can usually be found in the owner's manual for your trailer). If you check out the popular B&W Companion # BWRVK3500 you can see that the gross...

To add an air compression system for your Firestone air bags on your 2004 Ford F-350 there are a couple options to consider. The more economical option is the Firestone Air Command II # F2178, which has an analog display and electric dual-gauge control panel which will mount under the dash of your F-350. It will accommodate your needs for different psi for your camper and do the job thoroughly. The other option, which offers you a bit more convenience, is the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor...

Hi Cornelius; for air bags that fit your 2008 F-350 Dually and are compatible with an in-bed hitch I recommend the Firestone # F2550. The Firestone air bags have the best construction and are more reliable when compared to the Air Lift # AL57398 you were looking at. These air springs have four layers of reinforced rubber, a braided wire girdle, and use Firestone's rolled crimp seal to keep them securely anchored. They have a load-leveling capacity of 5,000 lbs and come with a limited lifetime...

  • Firestone Air Bag Kit that Fits 2019 Ford F-250
Hey Larry, for a Firestone Ride Rite kit that fits your 2019 Ford F-250 the part number you would need is the part # F35FV. You do not need to install a compressor at same time like you were interested in. There wouldn't be a way to add an air tank though if you didn't install a compressor kit as the tank would deflate at same time as bags if you were to use one.

  • Solution for Discontinued Firestone Replacement Remote
I do have a solution, but the replacement remote for your system is no longer available. The only option is to completely replace the system. If you want to stick with a wireless option then I recommend the Air Command Compressor System # F2610. This uses your smartphone so you won't have to worry about a replacement remote in the future. This is also a single path system. If you want a dual path it would have to be a replacement with an analog gauge like the # Firestone Air Command II # F2178.

I do have a solution, but the Air Lift # AL57291 is only compatible with the B&W 1105 and 1199R. These and other Air Lift air bags will not work with the # BWGNRK1108. What you can use instead is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2400. Even if the Air Lift did fit, I would recommend the Firestone since they have a superior design and will be more reliable. These have the same 5,000 lb load leveling capacity and won't interfere with your B&W hitch once installed. Since you're...

The good news for you is that Firestone does. What you can use is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2609. The Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57595 will fit your 2016 Ram 3500 dually. That being said, I would always choose Firestone if given the option. At 4,000 lbs you will be fine using a kit rated for 5,000 lbs as long as you don't think you will be getting close to exceeding that capacity.
