Torque specs are confusing 196 ft lb on instructions. 146 ft lb by Ford based on internet posts. Draw tite torque spec is 146 ft lb which is a class 4 hitch. Where did 196ft lb come from?
Wow fits like a glove and such an easy installation. It took longer to breakdown the packaging for recycling.

I was quoted at a local 4x4 shop $240 in labor to install my Curt trailer hitch. I am absolutely not a mechanic but when I looked at the directions I figured I could do it it took me less than 20 minutes and the job was completed very simple great directions very satisfied thank you

Hitch is still doing fine.
It’s awesome, just what my truck needed! Very heavy duty hitch. I removed the 4 existing bumper bolts, and used my floor jack to raise it into position. Replaced the bolts… done! I couldn’t be more pleased!

fit my '25 Ranger perfectly and only took 20 minutes to install. Half of that was gathering the necessary tools.
Direct bolt on literally took me longer to get the tools out and everything situated than it took to install. Super fast delivery!!

Fit and easy to install. Max 30 min with 2 adults.
not very happy with the condition of the packageing. box was tore open hitch and reciever on the ground . other than that is ok
It came today. Will install in the morning. Temp. Today was 108 degrees.

Draw Tite and Curt may have different specifications with their different hardware but the Curt hardware on this Curt hitch is to be torqued down to 196ft-lbs.
