The charger works with 6V and 12V wet cell, gel cell, enhanced flooded, calcium, maintenance-free, AGM, and lithium-ion batteries with baterry management systems (BMS). A 12V repair mode lets you restore lost capacity to sulfated and old batteries.
The Genius 10-amp can detect and charge batteries that have been drained to 1-volt. And by activating the Force Mode, the charger can even charge dead batteries with 0-volts. Traditional chargers can't detect a battery when the voltage drops below a certain level. To activate Force Mode hold the mode button down for 5 seconds.
12V power supply mode lets you power a 12V accessory. This works great for powering accessories like a tire inflator around the home or garage.
The needle-nosed battery clamps included with this Genius smart charger are designed to easily connect to battery terminals of all shapes and sizes. Unlike typical, plastic battery clamps, these clamps are constructed entirely of metal, ensuring maximum conductivity.
