K-Source Electric Towing Mirrors with Turn Signals Installation - 2013 GMC Sierra

Shane: Hey, everyone. Shane here with etrailer.com. Today, I have a 2013 GMC Sierra. And I'm going to walk you through how to install the K-Source custom fit towing mirrors. These are going to be direct factory replacements. These are going to give you a much bigger mirror.



K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 GMC Sierra

They have a snap on design for both the driver and passenger side. Part number KS80900. The K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors are both designed for the right and left side. There is a driver side mirror as well as a passenger side mirror included with the kit. There is two small pieces of foam padding that's on the inside of the mirror that help eliminate any vibration, as well as give a little bit of buffer your mirror and the add-on towing mirror. The way to tell which mirror is a driver or the passenger side, you will look at the small mirror that is on the outside.



CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 GMC Sierra

Today, on our 2013 GMC Sierra, we'll be test fitting the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror for the driver's side, part number 10901. This towing mirror slides over your existing mirror to give you added vision for towing. The CIPA mirror is adjustable to go up and down, side to side and diagonal. The lip on the CIPA mirror does not extend too much over the manufacturer's mirror, and you can still the visible blinker signs in the mirror. Well begin our testfit by sliding the new CIPA mirror over the manufacturer's mirror and take our piece with the angled hook, which will slide back behind the mirror taking our wing nut, which will thread through the hole. The wing nut will go into the divet and the back portion of the clamp, preventing the mirror from coming off. Once you get the wing nut all tightened down, the mirror is secured. With that, that will complete today's test fit for the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror for the driver's side, part number 10901, on our 2013 GMC Sierra. .



CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 GMC Sierra 10902

Today on our 2013 GMC Sierra we'll be test fitting this CIPA custom towing mirror for the passenger side, part# 10902. These custom towing mirrors slide over your existing mirror to give you added vision for towing your boat or trailer. Now the lip on the CIPA mirror does not extend to much over the manufacturers mirror, and you can still see the visible blinkers signs in the mirror. The CIPA mirror is adjustable to go up and down, side to side, and diagonal. We'll simply slide the CIPA mirror onto the manufacturer's mirror. You'll notice the lip on the CIPA mirror which goes around the lip of the manufacturer's mirror. We'll take the bracket, which will go around the manufacturer's mirror, and help keep it in place. There's a divot on the back of the bracket, which will thread the wing nut through the threaded hole, and secure the two together. That will complete today's test fit for the CIPA custom towing mirror for the passenger side, part# 10902, on our 2013 GMC Sierra.



CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror Installation - 2011 GMC Sierra

Today on our 2011 GMC Sierra, we'll be doing a test for the CIPA Deluxe towing mirror, part number one one six five zero. The wider field of view helps with changing lanes, passing and parking. The mirror also helps you make safer turns. It makes backing up easier. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. So we're here at the driver's side of our GMC Sierra and I just want to point out real quick that it looks complicated but it's actually a really easy installation. The top of our platform sits in our window well and the belt comes down on the outside of our door and hooks to the bottom.

Today on our 2011 GMC Sierra, we're going to be taking a look at installing the K-Source custom towing mirrors, snap-on style for the driver and passenger side, part number KS80900. And here you see installed on the driver's side. I'm at the end of the vision of your factory mirror. Now, when I moved to the side, your extra mirror is going to pick up the extra view of the length of your trailer and what's on the side of you. As you can see, it retains the OE look, contours the OE mirror. This may have the same basic material as the OE.



Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2011 GMC Sierra

Today in our 2011 GMC Sierra, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Longview Original Custom Towing Mirrors, part number CTM1600 and here you see it installed on the driver's side. I'm at the end of the vision of your factory mirror. Now, when I moved to the side, your extra mirror is going to pick up the extra view of the length of your trailer and what's on the side of you. You can see it's got adjustable thumbscrews. This one's going to adjust your tension in, and this side's going to adjust your tension for pulling against the outside of the mirror.Now, you can see it's got a nice textured design. It's going to look just like your factory design with the texture.

Today in our 2011 GMC Sierra, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, slip on for the driver and passenger side, part number CM10900. These are also available separately. For the driver's side, it'd be part number 10901 and for the passenger's side would be part number 10902. You can see right now, we're in the field of vision of your original mirror. When we step to the outside, I'll be visible in the field of vision of the accessory mirror. Here's what they're going to look like installed. These are simply going to slide over your factory mirrors and attach with a thumb screw at the back side.



K-Source Electric Towing Mirrors withTurn Signals Installation - 2009 GMC Sierra

Today on our 2009 GMC Sierra we're going to be taking a look at and installing the K-souse custom extendable mirrors with turn signals, electric heated. They come as a pair, part number KS62093-94G. Here's what it looks like once it's installed. Now you can see we've moved our line of sight out considerable away from our vehicle. We can see all the way to the end of our trailer with plenty of room to spare. It's going to make it really nice for when you're changing lanes in traffic. As you can see it's got that nice texture like the factory mirrors have.



Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2008 GMC Sierra

Today on our 2008 GMC Sierra, we're gonna be taking a look at the Longview custom-fit towing mirrors. Before I go over features, they don't look too bad. You know, they do have a decent amount of knobs and stuff on the sides, but the AVS plastic really does match the OEM look. You can't really tell a whole lot of difference. And if you can tell a little bit of difference, you gotta remember this is an older vehicle, and these are brand new. So this is a little bit glossier, but the whole finish to it is the same.

As you see, in the factor mirror, I am right behind the truck and you can see right behind you. If I take a few steps out, you can see me in the towing mirror. It is going to give you almost four feet or more of vision behind you so you can see your trailer when turns and hauling your trailer down the road. This is what our new CIPA Towing Mirror looks like installed on our GMC Sierra. As you see, it fits nicely around the factor mirror. The edge of the mirror goes around the factory mirror and you still have full functionality of your factory mirror.

Today in our 2008 GMC Sierra, we'll be installing and taking a look at the K Source custom towing mirrors for the driver and passenger side, part number: KS80900. These custom fit towing mirrors fit over your existing factory mirrors for an expanded field of vision. Now as you can see in our factory mirror, I'm pretty much right behind our truck, and you can see behind you. With a towing mirror, you're able to see a lot wider view, so you can see your trailer when going down the road and making wide turns. Now here's what our new K Source towing mirror looks like installed on our GMC Sierra. As you can see, it fits nicely around our factory mirror, follows the lines of the factory mirror, and doesn't interfere with anything. You still close your mirror for tight spaces and parking which is very nice since you're extending your mirror out. Very easy installation.



K Source Extendable Towing Mirror with Turn Signals Installation - 2007 GMC Sierra

Today, on our 2007 GMC Sierra, we'll be installing the K Source custom extended towing mirrors with turn signals and electric key, part number KS62075-76G. Now we'll go through operation of our new K Source power mirror. Using the vehicle power function, we can go ahead and move the top section of the mirror, in, out, up, down. We can also see that the turn signal circuit will flash in our mirror. Additional feature of the new K Source mirror is the extension out so that we can go around large towed objects. The lower section of our mirror can manually be moved and will stay put once set in position.



CIPA Clip-On Universal Fit Towing Mirrors Installation - 2005 GMC Sierra

Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com. We get questions all the time about our Universal towing mirrors, and if they fit certain vehicles. Today we've got a 2005 GMC Sierra, and we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA adjustable height Universal clip on towing mirror.So, this is going to give us a second full size mirror. We're looking at four inches by seven inches. It gives us a great view of what's going on behind us. By adding this on, basically when it's time to back into our spot, when it's time to get around the parking lots and stuff, we can remain seated in our comfortable position.



CIPA Custom Passenger Side Towing Mirror Installation - 2005 GMC Sierra

Today on our 2005 GMC Sierra, we will be installing CIPA custom towing mirrors for the right hand side, part #10802. Now the operation of the tow mirror itself or this outer mirror is a manual mirror, but it is fully adjustable, push it at different angles, and you will still have full function or movement of your factory mirror. So we can put our towing mirrors on our factory mirrors, we will need to install this piece of Felt here on the wedge or this bracket that goes inside the mirror. It will go on here just like this. Since we're just doing a test fit on our mirrors today we're not actually going to adhere this to the bracket. The next step will be to put this on the inside of the towing mirror. We will then go ahead and make sure this little slot here lines up with the tab right there. Go ahead and slide it into position.



CIPA Custom Drivers Side Towing Mirror Installation - 2005 GMC Sierra

Today on our 2005 GMC Sierra, we'll be installing the CIPA custom towing mirror for the left hand side, part number 10801. The towing mirror portion itself, for the outer mirror is a manually adjustable mirror, tilts in all different angles, and you will still have full function of your factory mirror. Before you can begin the installation, you need to add the felt strip to this bracket right here. Just peel the backing off, and it will adhere just like that. Since we're just doing a test fit today, we're not actually going to stick this on permanently. Once you have your felt strip adhered to the bracket here, go ahead and slide it in here.

Today, on our 2005 GMC Sierra, we'll be installing the CIPA custom towing mirrors in the slip-on design, part number CM10800. The towing mirror portion itself of the outer mirror is a manually-adjustable mirror, tilts in all different angles, and you will still have full function of your factory mirror. Before you can begin the installation, you need to add the felt strip to this bracket right here. You just peel the backing off, and it'll adhere just like that. Since we're just doing a test fit today, we're not actually going to stick this on permanently. Once you have your felt strip adhered to the bracket here, go ahead and slide it in here. When we go to put our bracket or the wedge piece in here, we'll need to go ahead and line this little slot up here with this little tab right here. Go ahead and slip it in place. Now we're ready to install our towing mirror onto our factory mirror. We'll go ahead and take our towing mirror.



Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2005 GMC Sierra

Today on our 2005 GMC Sierra, well be installing Custom Slide On Mirrors from Longview, part number CTM1500.Now these slip on mirrors provide excellent towing visibility at an economical price. They require no tools to install and do install in just minutes. These do come in pairs.To begin our installation, here on the drivers side mirror, well first slide on the mirror making sure that it fits around the factory mirror completely. Once we done that, well take the hook and slide it back behind the mirror, here closest to the vehicle.Well then take the knob and screw it to the hook making sure we pass through the hole holding the mirror in place. With the drivers side on, we can move over the passenger side and repeat the same process.Now once secure, youll notice that the mirror complements the factory mirror conforming to it almost completely. It extends your field of vision making it safer while towing behind your vehicle.



K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2005 GMC Sierra

Today on our 2005 GMC Sierra, well be installing the K Source Custom Towing Mirrors, part number KS80800.Now these mirrors just snap into place around the OEM mirrors. Here on the drivers side, well begin our installation by simply sliding it over the OEM mirror where we will lock it into place, first on the top and then here on the bottom.Once theyre snapped into place, theyre ready to be used. They require no hardware or tools and they just simply pop right back off when youre pulling your truck into the garage. They also offer a great sleek look. The mirror moves both up and down as well as left and right giving you the ability to adjust your mirror perfectly. This will make it much safer when towing behind your truck.



K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2001 GMC Sierra

Today on our 2001 GMC Sierra, regular cab 2-wheel drive, we'll be installing the K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors in the snap-on style, part number KS80800. When installing your new K-Source towing mirrors, depending on your vehicle application, you may need to remove one or all of the tape strips that are on the inside of the towing mirror. On our particular application, we found that we had to remove all 3 strips of tape to allow the mirror to fit on our mirror properly. When installing the new K-Source snap-on mirrors, you'll begin by putting the 2 tabs over the top of the factory mirror, and then as you gently push downward on the mirror, the third tab will hook on the inside of the mirror towards the door. Once you have it pushed all the way down around your factory mirror, you'll have to push a little bit towards the bottom to make the bottom snap come over the lip of the factory mirror. Now that our mirror's snapped fully into place, as you can see, we still have movement of our factory mirror, as well as complete adjustment on the new towing mirror. The towing mirror is manual, and you will need to adjust by hand. Now that we have our driver's side on, we'll go ahead and repeat the same process over on the passenger side.
