24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.
The carrier was exactly what I was expecting. High quality, powder coated, and heavy duty. This will allow me to transport my mower, pressure washer, cooler, and anything that I do not want inside my Jeep. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
First off, etrailer is awesome. I placed my order over the phone so I could ask if it was possible to have it shipped to me before a certain date. Nicole took my order, ensured me it would be there, and even followed up to make sure it shipped out the same day. Received it exactly when she told me I would. First Impression: Everything arrived on time and assembly took about 30 minutes. The basket is aluminum, but the support pieces and main shank looks to be carbon steel (I think, did not feel like scratching it to be sure). These pieces are thick, so I am not too worried about corrosion. I may just have to keep the paint touched up on these parts. Assembly: Some of the instructions could be a little more clear showing what piece goes on top of the other, and I would prefer to have a toque spec. It was difficult at times to hold a piece in place and tighten the bolt/nut. Overall, it was not bad though. Some misalignment of the pin holes at the folding joint when first assembled, but pin was able to go through with a little maneuvering. It may have adjusted itself going down the road because the pin goes in an out fairly easy now. I also added a little grease in the folding joint to prevent scratches/rust to the area since I do not think it is aluminum. Appearance and Fit: The carrier look is great. Unit is lightweight and easy to handle. Good fit for my 2017 Frontier with a 2" drawtite hitch using a j-hook anti-rattle pin. Very glad I got a carrier that folds up! Once the cooler was unloaded, I did not have to take the unit off the hitch to run errands and park in parking lots. Travel: Hauled a large ice chest (~60lbs) for a 4 hour round trip this weekend without issues. Ratchet strap bends the lip of the carrier in a little to get everything very tightly tied down, but that is not an issue for me. Everything road very well and no measurable affect to the vehicle or rattling noises. This was a test run, but I am confident that I could haul more weight without issue. Pros: Lightweight, Good Look, Folding, Aluminum basket should reduce maintanence Cons: Shank and bracing appear to be painted/coated carbon steel (not aluminum), Assembly could have been easier and instructions could have been a little more more specific
Awesome cargo carrier, perfect for my use!!

Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs
I can't say I'm entirely happy with my purchase. The instructions were more confusing than helpful. Note in "instruction.jpg" photo of STEP 1 that the text says to put the 8 small bolts in from the inside first, but the drawing clearly shows them as going in from the outside. The last step says to place the ramp onto the receiver as shown.... glad I didn't throw away the box because there is no drawing that shows ramp installation. Actually, the photo on the box was more helpful than any of the instructions. Also, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy longer medium bolts because the ones that came with the carrier were not long enough to fully engage the self locking feature of the nylon lock nuts. At a minimum a couple of threads should protrude beyond the nylon. See photo "nut.jpg". The bolt threads don't reach the end of the nylon, so the self locking feature is not fully engaged. I did tighten the nut, but that was as far as it would go. I think once I get back from the hardware store with the new medium bolts and after I reverse the 8 small bolts (I followed the drawing and not the text of the instructions), I'll be OK with the carrier.
"Instantly Get Rid of Wobble and Upgrade With Lights" This is not a 5 because ramp should be longer & there should be some type stabilizer to temporary hold bike while strapping down, I'd pay more for those upgrades. The wobble can instantly be solved by hooking Tie-Straps closest to vehicle directly to the receiver where you hook your chains, rather than hooking them to the provided holes on carrier itself. You of course use the provided strap holes ones on the opposite side. When strapped down as stated, the carrier now becomes one with the vehicle & @ 80mph there is no wobble. (*TIP: Put ramp back in its place before strapping down or else it won't fit with the strap hooks in the way.) I upgraded mine with lights for both safety reasons & not needing the Police any reason to pull me over. It was very simple and cost me nothing but time & maybe $50. I recommend this product whole heartedly.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
I was so disappointed with the cargo carrier that I didn't both writing an initial review. Installation instructions are poor, but what makes things particularly bad is that there aren't nearly enough washers provided. This means that when you go to tighten everything down, the metal dimples inward wherever there isn't a washer. Who manufacturers a product which only provides half the amount of washers that are needed. Also, the method in which this fits 2 different hitch sizes is pretty poor. Had I known that this is how the product would work, I would have ordered two different cargo carriers.
We just installed our carrier. We love that this is going to free up a lot of space for our vacation traveling. Very heavy duty and bigger than i was thinking it would be.The pin that holds the carrier in the hitch was not included. It would have been an added bonus if it was.

Great quality and serves its purpose. I wish I ordered the slightly bigger one to fit the bins and items I use it for. For example, a white standard igloo cooler doesn’t fit the way I need it to maximize loading capacity. I highly recommend a stabilizer to prevent wobble.

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Carrier and box will be moved to hitch on 209 Solitude Rv to provide extra cargo carrying ability
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.

I've been using this Cargo Carrier on my 4 Runner Venture for about a year now. I Purchased this item to haul extra gear to Nags Head from Northwestern Virginia. Installation was a breeze and it's very, very sturdy. I had two Yeti coolers packed with ice and drinks and there was no wobbling at all. I'm a 197 pounds and I was standing on it after I installed it just to check for durability and this thing is a beast. I also used this as a rod holder while on the beach and I caught a 6 foot black tip shark. Overall, I'm very pleased with this item and I would recommend to a friend.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Super disappointed in this etrailer purchase. The product came in a large box that was fully intact and not damaged. The actual cargo basket was meticulously wrapped and appeared to be brand new as expected. The other components however, like the arm, were in boxes that were smashed, old, worn, and had multiple layers of old tape. The arm itself was scratched and banged up, even rusty in spots. Clearly it was used or had been a returned item. If I wanted a dented, gouged, and rusty Cargo Carrier I would have purchased one used, for half the price. This is not the quality I expect from etrailer.. I have purchased many racks and other items from this company and usually the quality is outstanding. This time they dropped the ball. I have since read other reviews and it is apparent that this is not an isolated incident. I'd have sent it back if it wasn't so damn heavy and awkward to lug around.
Holds all my gear. Just what I was hoping for. Now my dogs have the car all to themselves. Really bummed that there are "Made in China" stickers all over it. I went with etrailer because I thought they were a USA company. I guess no one can turn down that cheap slave labor. Hopefully my gear does not end up on the highway.

GearSpace 34 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitch - Slide Out - 34 cu ft - 300 lbs - Dark Gray
We looked all over for a hardshell storage pod, one that would fit 300 pounds of embroidery hardware. This one from Gearspace fit the bill. Super easy checkout with etrailer.com, and they were the only ones to offer free shipping, and since this is a larger, heavier item, that means LTL Freight. Not [online vendor] and not the Mfg. The GearSpace 34 arrived earlier than promised, and it was an easy unload if you have room for a sixty foot tractor trailer. 190 lbs on a pallet, but it will load right into the back of a pickup real easy. Took about 30 minutes to install, and it went like a breeze. Light test, check... signals, check. Ready to roll on our next RV trip, with lots more room for goodies along the way. This item gets an A+, it works as advertised, and etrailer.com was GREAT. They communicate often and update on order status. even sent out an email to get customer feedback and review, along with some pictures. I'm sure after this stellar review they will send me a nice etrailer hat & Koozie Pictures show the Gearspace 34 loaded with about 200 lbs right now. It never moved an inch and is solid on the mounting hitch hardware. You will not be disappointed with this product, it's top of the line for RV rear storage.
After much research for use of storage and security this Gear Space unit has served us exceptionally well. Our Class B RV is now complete!
Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Frontier
Today, on our 2014 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the Surco 24X60 Cargo Carrier for 2 Inch Hitches, Part Number 52018. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank into the hitch on our vehicle. You'll want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. With those in line, we'll take our hitch pin and slide it through the holes. This particular carrier does not come with a pin and clip, so today, we're using Part Number PC3. We'll attach our clip and get a couple of measurements. The closed part of the carrier to the vehicle is going to be here, at the rail to the bumper.
Rola Dart Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Frontier
Today on our 2014 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the 23X56 Rola Dart cargo carrier. This cargo carrier is designed for 2-inch hitches and does fold which is a nice feature to have. We'll start our test fit by inserting the shank into the hitch on our Nissan. You'll see here that it does come with a threaded hitch bolt so we'll go ahead and line up our hitch pin hole. We can thread that into place. We'll go ahead and get it hand tight and then we'll finish it off with our wrench.
Pro Series Solo Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Frontier
Today, on our 2014 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the Pro Series 31X47 cargo carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number PS1040100. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank into the hitch on our vehicle. The size of this carrier does make it pretty awkward so how I found it easiest to get it in is to go ahead and tilt it up against the hitch, then walk around to the back. As we life up, we're going to push in at the same time. You'll want to line up your hitch pinholes which can be a challenge. You kind of just got to do some wiggling and then step to the side to see if you're close.

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Frontier
Today on our 2014 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the MaxxTow 17x50 Cargo Carrier, part number MT70107. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the carrier in to the hitch on our vehicle. This carrier is designed for 2" hitches. Once you have the shank inserted, you'll want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. Today, we're using part number PC3 as our pin and clip, as this carrier doesn't come with one. Once we have that through, we'll go ahead and attach the clip to the other side. The closest part of the carrier to the vehicle is going to be the rail here, that measures about 3-1/2" from the bumper. Overall, we've added about 23-1/4". The ground clearance from the back of the rack comes to about 14-1/2". The exhaust does exit on the passenger side of this vehicle and it faces away from the rear so you shouldn't have any issues hauling heat sensitive materials on your carrier. We'll go ahead and check for clearance as we lower our tailgate down.

Today, on our 2014 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the 17 x 46 Curt Cargo Carrier, Part Number C18145. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into the hitch on our vehicle. This particular carrier sits on both 1-1/4 and 2-inch hitches, which makes it nice if you have multiple hitch styles on different vehicles. We'll go ahead and insert the threaded anti-rattle hitch bolt. We'll get that hand tight and then finish it off with our wrench. Tightening this down will help you take the movement out of the shank of the rack, which helps eliminate to movement overall going down the road. Attach our clip on the other side, and we'll grab a couple of measurements.
