I recently purchased a class III Curt hitch, mount, ball, wiring harness and hitch pin for my 2011 Toyota Rav 4. The installation was as described, straight forward and easy. The instructions were easy read and matched the vehicle I have. Everything fit together exactly with no modification needed. Shipping was directly to my door. The unit was undamaged and everything was shipped all in the same box. I have used my hitch several times, and although I an new to towing, I look forward to years of use. I did have to make a quiet clamp for the banging mount with an empty trainer, but from what I understand, this is common to all hitched.

Outstanding hitch, wiring harness & attachments. Online help (when given the trailer manufacturer and year) chose correct size and offset for ball to perfectly align trailer and car. You can see the lawn tractor sitting absolutely level on the trailer with the snow flying. It shows why I was in such a rush to acquire the hitch. I have a 2004 RAV 4 and I was trying to get my ball away from the spare tire carrier. I think I probably would have been fine with the next size (shorter) ball mount and still got the job done. The good news is that with the 2 inch drop, I can open the rear door and it just rubs the seal at the bottom of the door a little bit, but I can still easily open the door. I did not want to drop the ball any lower, So this works out well for my rig.

Ordered this hitch and it worked perfect for what I needed just bought a teardrop trailer. Couldn't open up the tailgate on my Jeep so I ordered this extended hitch and I brought the ball out past my spare tire and the tailgate opens up now I have no problems. And I looked everywhere couldn't find one of this quality and at this price very reasonable the other ones hundreds of dollars didn't want to spend that much.

Longer stinger let me drop the tailgate on my Tacoma with trailer attached. Replaced a similar but shorter Curt hitch and both are very substantial and well made for the weight of my trailer.

With good information from the website it was easy to order a Curt 2" Trailer Hitch, the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit w/ 4-Pole Connector and Circuit Tester - 119178KIT, Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches (3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 10-1/4" Long - 7,500 lbs - D-4), Curt Pin and Clip Hitch Receiver - C21500, Rubber Tube Cover for 2" Trailer Hitch Receivers - I-728,Review, and 2" hitch ball 40038. Parts were delivered earlier than the initial estimate. Self installation (on a sloped drive way) took just under 2 hour. The fit of parts was very good, instructions and on-line video's were very helpful. My Kia did not have the wire plug in option, but the splice connections in the wire kit were easy to install. Most of the parts are hidden from view when the ball mount is not used.

I am using the hitch for a car dolly and a bike rack. The fit is a little loose for the bike rackmI'll see it really works when get on the road.

Quality is excellent. However, it did not work so I am not sure what to do with it. I thought I could use the top hitch for a Bike rack and pull a utility trailer with other toys. The trailer is too close to make a turn so good try but not able to use it. Thank you for asking. I did not open the box for a while because I was having the trailer worked on so assumed I waited too long to return.

It's a receiver hitch! It's well built, the welds are clean and it fits the trailer hitch. Not much else to say!

Super easy install. I had to use a 12mm tap to clean out years of rust from inside the frame threads that received the hitch bolts. Other than this hiccup the process went smooth. Easy ordering and great customer support.
