Great product, fit was perfect and functions awesome. I have a camper that these work great for and when your done camping you can take them off. I also have a sled bed that is a platform that enables you to haul 2 snowmobiles on top of your bed. That is 8 feet wide. These mirrors enable me to see around it also. Again when you are not hauling you just take them off and store them until the next time you need them. This is a great alternative to buying extended mirrors that you have to pull in all the time at drive throughs, parking lots, and the automatic car wash. Product was shipped and arrived before etrailer said it would be there. Packaging was great, the light duty boxes from CIPA were packaged in a heavy duty stapled cardboard box. The instruction videos and reviews from etrailer were very helpful in choosing a great product. I have also stumbled onto a great professional company in etrailer. I am typically a hard person to please however, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND THIS COMPANY!

great mirrors i can see much better now. they bolt right in to factory holes took me mabye ten min to put on. the only down side is the mirror comes out at a upward angle instead of being level which i think is because of the year of the truck not the product mabye make a line of mirrors special to that year but other then that great mirror
1999 Chevrolet SilveradoI bought the K Source Extendable towing mirrors one year ago, for a 1999 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado. They work very well. They are a huge improvement over the stock mirrors, especially when towing a 8' wide camper. They were easy to put on, probably took an hour or two. No complaints.

Installed on a 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD diesel crew cab 4 x 4. Excellent fit and finish. The installation video is beyond helpful - a must do before starting the removal/install. I'm mechanically inclined, the panel removal tool is also a must. I think it took me more time to gather tools and find a chair to support the door panel than it did to switch out both mirrors (I didn't want to leave the door panel dangling from the wiring harness or the cable for the door opener) The only thing I really wish was different was the black backs on the mirrors - I was really wanting chrome backs but they're not available through etrailer. They'll grow on me I 'spose over time but I miss the chrome....
Arrived on time, installation was fairly easy (you-tube helped tremendously with tips about door panel removal), and the mirrors look and work great

THE MIRRORS GO ON EASY, AND FIT GREAT ON MY 2011 SILVERADO. HAVE YET TO TRY THEM WHILE TOWING OUR TRAILER, BUT I HAVE A GOOD FEELING THEY WILL WORK JUST FINE. I HAVE SPOKE WITH OTHER CAMPERS WITH THE SAME TRUCK AND MIRRORS AND THEY SAY THEY WORK WELL. I GUESS I WILL KNOW BY NEXT WEEK, BECAUSE I WILL TAKING THE TRAILER OUT FOR ITS INSPECTION.

On my initial purchase, only one arrived. I assumed two would ship. Seems most times a driver needs two mirrors. So I ended up paying shipping twice. The mirrors will do as advertised but I do not recommend them for long term use, or more use over bumpy or gravel roads. It does not take much vibration for them to wiggle free and fall off. Used them on the mirrors on a 2011 Silverado 2500HD.
Good for occasional use, if you are going to be using on a daily basis go with an oem style mirror. they were easy to install and stayed in place while traveling.

Looked around at several mirrors from different vendors. Decided that these looked the best. The package was delivered promptly just a couple days after I placed the order online. These mirrors were a perfect replacement for my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic Extended Cab. The installation was a breeze. The included instructions went step by step. The heat and electric cables plugged right in where the old mirrors were. It even came with the clips already on the cables to clip to the door. They will be very helpful when towing our camper. There is no vibration when going down the road. He bottom convex mirrors really help with blind spots. I wish I had done this earlier.

2006 Chevrolet SilveradoLove these mirrors! Have had them on the truck now for a year and they work perfect and give you a lot more visibility than the standard short factory mirrors. No need for aftermarket extensions with these. Plus they slide out if you need even more visibility but we never had to use that alternative yet cause they work great just the way they are. We tow a tandem axel 7x14 cargo trailer and have plenty of visibility to see backing up and nicely down each side while driving. Much safer in heavy traffic. Installation was very simple and the mirrors bolted right on with exacting fit. I would totally recommend these if your needing better visibility over the small OEM mirrors for towing or just daily driving.

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Clamp On - Adjustable Length - Steel
These mirrors are “ok” but they don’t hold their position very well in the wind, and the pot-metal clamps break quite easily. I have replaced 3 of them after about 8 uses. The replacement clamps, as cheap as they are made, are NOT inexpensive to replace at over $10 each!!!
The product appears to be very good but it will not fit on my 2019 Silverado. The trim around the front of the mirror will not let the clamp go far enough to tighten up on the mirror. I love the design and hopefully they can design it a little different to enable it to work on all mirrors. Thank you.

It's going to be adjustable, both inward and outward, horizontally and vertically. The arms clip into place underneath your factory mirror and, while they're in, you can still maneuver your factory mirror and adjust it as you need to.And while they're installed, the breakaway function will still work, however your mirror may contact the glass.

The built-in mounting clips grab the inside edges of your factory mirrors for a simple, tool-free installation, with a clean look. Now, here on the drivers side, take our mirror and starting here on the top of our factory mirror, well clip it in, slide it down, allowing it to snap into place here on the bottom side of our factory mirror.
