Best 2010 GMC Sierra 5th Wheel Hitches

Its the best hitch I have ever owned, I like the fact that its easy to install, & remove. I like the fact that when its removed there are no rails in the bed. love it.

This hitch works extremely well. The slide is nice if you get into any tight cornering situations. The hitch top and base separate making it a bit easier to mount and unmount.The lock washer used with the mounting bolt that draws up against the gooseneck pin broke on the 2nd use. I had 2 different torque wrenches set to 79 lbs that I tested the bolt with. Unsure why it broke. But overall we love this hitch and we pull a 38f 5ver without issue. Very smooth ride.

Called and spoke with courteous and knowledgeable service rep. Placed my order order and received a lot sooner than expected delivery date. Even referred to one of our top service garages in the area, looks like they will be getting all their B&W supplies from etrailer.com

The item came in timely, and the package arrived undamaged and by someone who was polite and put the item where I asked them to. It was an overall great experience.

I bought the Curt Q16 to replace a slide-bar hitch. I really like the way the jaws wrap around the kingpin. It also has a lot smoother pull than any other hitch I've used. The composite bushing that the head mounts in really helps absorb the jerking you get while driving down some of the bumpy highways, especially when pulling a double hook-up. The status indicator that can be seen inside the cab is also a plus.

The information also helped so I could have an informed discussion with the RV repair tech who was saying it would take 4 hours to install the Curt Hitch. Simple well built product. Easy to assemble for use (about 15 min). The way I did it was to Assemble loosely at first, Then pin the hitch on the rails. After that I tightened everything up. I put the adjustment to highest position then I would adjust downward to get the the truck and trailer level. I found putting the hitch to its highest and then adjust the pin box as high as possible gave me the extra clearance I wanted between the tailgate and the trailer pin box bracket. I have one of those 5' 6" beds to deal with. Fit great.

My current bw companion says on it that you can not use it with the sidewinder. Used the chat to get info on using my existing sidewinder on my new truck. The person from etrailer built me a cart with everything I needed. Except it's not compatible. I have a Ford with the factory prep. They told me there was no way to use it. I got the rail system they recommended only to find out that it doesn't work. Also this wedge they recommended doesn't not fit the sidewinder. Just buy local and save the headache. Now I have to schedule a Ups drop off and leave work early to bring 300lbs of boxes to ship back.

I very much appreciate the expedited shipping and the follow-up. Appears all made it in good shape. Have put you guys on my favs along with Harbor freight, Home Depot, Cabella's, and Big 5.-----Tell more when installed. Will only use on occasion at Tree Farm.

Product was delivered in a few days, and well packaged. Instructions were very clear, and instalation was simple as the rails were already in the truck I removed a Valley Fifth Wheel, and this went right into where it was. Great product. Very happy with it.

The new lower base for the Demco hitch arrived on Tuesday via Freight it was a great interaction the driver I actually knew from a previous delivery, me and a friend were able to lift the old one out of the bed of my truck and install the new one today and all I have to say is... PERFECT FIT! It appears that Demco has already redesigned the lower base compared to my original one to prevent this problem from happening again. I was actually kind of shocked to see that upgrade and change. I cannot say enough good words about you with etrailer and Demco working with me to get this problem solvedm Yes it took a little bit of work, ultimately this time we got it. I cannot thank you guys enough. My friend and I will be finalizing the installation and getting it locked down to the bed with a few custom spacers for the lower rails this weekend. Here are a few pictures of the installation resuming. If I remember , when I finally pick up my new camper, I'll send some pictures along too. Have to give credit where credit is due . Not sure of you have a customer wall at HQ. I know we had one in my old shop. Anyway.. thank you again .

Has to do a little assembly, really easy. Tows super nice, when turning does move towards the back. You’ll need to adjust the guides for the fifth wheel.

Works great but heavy. Thankfully it's two piece to take out and put in.

Arrived yesterday, box with hitch was broken, UPS driver said he taped it up. All parts look good. Plastic bag with small parts was torn open, 2 small parts missing, I can get them locally. I understand that there heavy Just need to be packaged better. Otherwise all ok.

This hitch is average at best. It has been garage kept and already sticking and not opening properly. I have owned a 5th wheel camper my entire life and the 2 prior hitches was never serviced and gave no issues. I would not recommend this hitch to no one....

This 5th wheel has exceeded all my expectations. It’s worked flawlessly for thousands of miles and many different type of 5th wheels trailers. Not a peep, B&W FTW!!

The Anderson ultimate hitch has met my expectations in every way. It doesn't take two men and a boy to install to tow your RV and when you need to use your pickup to haul stuff it's light and just as easy to remove it. Hooks up and unhook with little effort.

They advertise you can be within 3” of hitch and still connect I found that you need to be almost perfect. And to latch and unlatch there can’t be any pressure going up or weight going down, you have about a 1/4” to play with. I found it to be rougher when pulling than a normal fifth wheel hitch. It is very light though.

I think that etrailer requires their employees to lie so as not to have any confrontations with customers on the phone. I placed two orders on 8/23 and immediately received followup emails that order received, order processed by (employee name) and then is in stock with associated time each step completed. Then I noticed that shipping date kept getting 1 day later each day I checked order status. So, I contacted etrailer on day 5, 8/27 and find out my item was not in stock at all and would not be until mid Oct. Well,I then had them order me the same part by a different manufacturer and was told that it was in stock and would still be still be shipped 8/28 and delivered on 8/30, the same day my fifth wheel hitch is being delivered, so everything seemed rectified until I checked order status online the evening of 8/28 and find that the ship date again had been pushed back another day 8/29 with a delivery date of 9/1, (which is a Sunday). Seems that at this rate I may have it sometime in September. Going by their assurance of delivery on 8/30, I arranged to pickup my new camper on 9/5, that seems to be an impossibility at this time because Order #121389499 the installation kit with base rails is a very necessary part of the assembly. So, in closing I can only say that if you do not have the parts to ship, be honest and state the truth. This has made me feel very negative now toward etrailor as I already had become with Camping World. Is there any honesty in the RV parts aftermarket?

After a year, I still like my Demco autoslide. It works great. I have pulled my trailer quite a few times and have had no issues at all. I know quite a few people that pull 5th wheels and one actually went out and purchased a autoslide after watching mine work.

This hitch has been used daily since i purchased it. I deliver fifth wheel travel trailers all over the country. This hitch has worked flawlessly from day one. This hitch is one of the only products that I've ever bought that is exactly what it was described to be. Im not one to do reviews, so the fact that im doing this one , in itself, says a lot about the quality of your product. The design and looks are much better than any other hitch ive seen. It just looks better in the truck bed than others do.

Received the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch very timely from UPS. It looks very well built. We (my husband and myself) put it together and had it installed in about a half hour (Very easy with the right tools). We are going camping this weekend. I will take a couple pictures and will let you know how it does.....

Install was easy and the hitch performs perfectly. I have ZERO complaints. Even a year later, it performs great.

I bought a fifth wheel hitch and found an [online] video for my truck and hitch that was extremely helpful, especially since all the RV dealers in the area were two months out to install it. Ive been using this fifth wheel set up for about 5 months now and I don't have any complaints. I pull a 2022 Heartland Cyclone 4006 toyhauler fifth wheel. Loaded down its usually weighing between 18 to 20,000 lbs depending on what we are hauling.

I have ran a cheap competitor hitch for several years. A manufacturing defect (welded pivot pin) caused the hitch to fail and resulted in 18000$ damage to my truck and trailer. I chose the Curt 25000# hitch after much research and found it to be very well made and clearly shows when it is properly coupled. It is quiet and operates with minimal klunking and chunking going down the road. Overall I am very pleased.

This is a top notch, very well built hitch. Dropped right in to my oem puck system on a 2024 Chev 2500 hd. The first hookup was so smooth that I wasn’t sure I was even on my kingpin. E trailer had it delivered the next day from ordering!! The other important thing to note is this hitch takes up a 17” x 30” footprint which is way smaller than an Andersen base.

Like most say the packaging could be better. But it came without any scratches and looks awesome. Didn’t take long to install. Directions were easy. Can’t wait to try it out! As always, eTrailer rocks. Will continue to purchase from them.
