Greatly appreciated the prompt response to help guide my purchase. The information also helped so I could have an informed discussion with the RV repair tech who was saying it would take 4 hours to install the Curt Hitch. Product was delivered in a few days, and well packaged. Instructions were very clear, and instalation was simple as the rails were already in the truck I removed a Valley Fifth Wheel, and this went right into where it was. Great product. Very happy with it.

I have ran a cheap competitor hitch for several years. A manufacturing defect (welded pivot pin) caused the hitch to fail and resulted in 18000$ damage to my truck and trailer. I chose the Curt 25000# hitch after much research and found it to be very well made and clearly shows when it is properly coupled. It is quiet and operates with minimal klunking and chunking going down the road. Overall I am very pleased.

Of all the products I have purchased from E-Trailer, the CURT 5th wheel hitch has been the most disappointing. After installing the unit, I noticed workmanship items that are not consistent with a high quality unit. The legs and main body did not consistently align and there is excessive chucking (in my opinion) that occurs while traveling. When I addressed this with CURT, I received no response regarding the misalignment and was told the chucking was within industry standards! Two previous 5th wheel hitches did not "chuck" as this unit does. When I addressed these concerns with E-Trailer and requested a refund, I was informed since the unit had been installed no refund was allowable. I asked how I would hear/feel the chucking w/o installing and got no viable response then as well. I will eventually go with a GenY gooseneck adapter. Do not support CURT, they do not stand behind their products and customer service is pretty much nonexistent!!
