Hollywood Racks Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Ford Escape

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we are going to be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks 15/12x55 Cargo Carrier. This can be used as a stand alone carrier or it can also easily be added on to the rear of the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 part number HR1450 or the Hollywood Rack Sport Rider part number HR1400. The cargo carrier as a stand alone item is going to offer us a weight capacity of up to 220 pounds. When added to the rear of a bike rack, it's going to offer us a 90 pound weight capacity. Part number on it is HR1485. To begin our test fit we've already put our adapter that converts this from fitting into the back of the bike rack onto it, it's going to convert it into a two inch style hitch or two inch style shank which we can slide into a two inch receiver tube. We are going to slide this in until we line up the pin holes, we've got one in the shank and one in the hitch.



Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Ford Escape

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape we're going to be doing a test fit on the Pro Series Solo. This is a 31 x 47 cargo carrier. It's designed for use in 2-inch hitches and it's going to offer a 400-pound weight capacity. The part number on it is PS1040100. As you can see, this is one of the larger cargo carriers that we offer. I'd recommend if you're going to be putting it in your vehicle, to get a helping hand. If that is not available, I have come up with a way to do it, just one person. You're basically just going to kind of place your cargo carrier on the ground.



Surco Products 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Ford Escape

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we're going to be doing a test fit on Surco 24x60 cargo carrier. This has been designed for use in 2-inch hitches and it offers a 500-pound weight capacity. Part number on it is 52018. To begin our test fit, we just slide the shank of carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up our pinhole with out hitch pinhole. We'll then take our standard 5/8 pin.

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we're going to do a test fit on the 17x50 Maxxtow aluminum cargo carrier. This is going to be designed for use in two-inch hitches. It offers us a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number on is MT70108. This is a nice lightweight carrier. Might be a really good choice for you if you have any kind of issues with weight or lifting heavier objects.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Ford Escape

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape we're going to be doing a test fit on the 17 by 50 MaxxTow cargo carrier. Now this has been designed for use in 2" hitches. Even with its compact size it's still going to offer a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is MT70107. To begin our test fit we slide the shank of our carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll then line up our pinhole with our hitch pinhole. With those appropriately aligned we can take a standard 5/8 pin.



Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Ford Escape

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape we're going to be doing a test fit of the 20 by 60 Detail K2 Folding Cargo Carrier. They've designed this so we can easily use it with 2-inch hitches. Has a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is K2HCC602. To begin our test fit we slide the shank of our carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pinhole with our hitch pinhole. With those aligned we'll take our standard 5/8 pin and we're just going to slide that through. We'll secure it on the other side with our clip.



Curt 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Ford Escape

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape we're going to do a test fit on the 24 by 60 CURT folding cargo carrier. Now they've designed this for use in 2" hitches and it's going to offer a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number on it is C18153. Now to begin our test fit we slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this we'll line up our pinhole with our hitch pinhole. Once we have those in line we're going to take our standard 5/8 pin and we're going to slide it through our pinholes. Now the pin and clip are sold separately.



Curt 17x46 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Ford Escape

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we're going to do a test fit on the 17X46 Curt cargo carrier. They've designed this so it can easily be used with 1 1/4 or 2-inch hitches.
