To get your car safe to flat tow you'll need the following parts:
Base-Plate # RM39FR
Tow-Bar Adapter # RO64FR
Lighting # RM-15267
Chargeline # RM-156-25
Air-Force One Vehicle Side # SM99209 and Hose # SM99666 (if you do not still have the vehicle side of the kit, I didn't see you mention that)
OR
Air Force One # SM99226 (If you still have the hose and vehicle side of the kit)

If you’re not installing a supplemental braking system, like part # DM86VR, then the answer is no, you won’t need to install a charge line kit (part # RM-156-25). You will, however, want to double-check your owner’s manual for the exact steps to put your Escape into Tow Mode. From what I found, once the vehicle is in Tow Mode it will then transition into Sleep Mode.

Hey Zasha. There are no plug in wiring harnesses to flat tow your 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid. This is common amongst flat towed vehicles anymore. The wiring systems are pretty complicated and most vehicles require a charge line, which can be connected through the same 6-pin used for the lights. We've also got quite a few braking systems that don't require modifications to your motorhome.

For that I recommend the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator like part # DM72VR which is for drum brakes, a 2" ball and bolts to a 3" tongue. It has mounting holes 3" apart on center. Please confirm that these specs match your trailer.

You will always want to reference your owners manual to make sure your vehicle can be flat towed behind your RV. The manual may reference it is "recreational towing". We do carry all the parts to be able to tow your 2023 Ford Escape, however, that alone doesn't mean that your particular vehicle can be. Hey Katlyn, I have a similar solution that is going to be a little easier to install with first starting with the 4-way kit part # TK57CR as this will not require quite as much wiring since it installs by plugging inline with your taillight harnesses instead of requiring you to hardwire to them like with the # 22551.

Even with fuel and gear you won't be close to exceeding the 6,000 lb rating. We all know there are people out there with sticky fingers, and some that are just mean for no reason, so locking up your stuff is always a good idea!
I recommend grabbing the Roadmaster Lock Set - Hitch Lock and 2 Padlocks # RM-304. These will be keyed alike and provides a lock to keep the tow bar in your hitch, and two locks to keep the tow bar attached to your base plate. It's everything you could ever want.
