The main reason is because the Pro Series Pilot # 80550 is time delayed, so there will be a delay from the time that you hit your brakes in your GMC for the brakes to be applied on the trailer. The Voyager PWM Filter for Voyager RV Camera System part # VGR74VR doesn't install into your vehicle or RV's 7-way. This connector needs to be installed between the factory Voyager camera wiring and the camera itself.
