Will K-Source Towing Mirrors Interfere With Power-Folding Mirrors on a GMC Sierra

Question:

i have a 2025 gmc sierra slt 4x4 5.3 litre crewcab with auto folding mirrors when you look the doors. will these mirror extensions touch the vehicle when the auto mirrors are fully closed ? Thanks

Thanks for letting us help Mike. The K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80930 will not make contact with your Sierra when the factory mirrors are folded in, and they will not interfere with the power-folding function. I've included a video below showing the # KS80930 installed on a 2024 GMC Sierra. If you skip to around the 1:50 mark, you can see the mirrors being folded while the towing mirrors are installed.

Hi! My mirrors do not contact my truck when folded in. I have a 2026 Chevy 1500 turbomax lt. Prior to that I had a 2021 diesel and they folded in on that one fine also.

@DanW Thanks for sharing! Do you have the power folding mirrors? Also, how are you liking the Turbomax?

Mike, I have a 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 with folding mirrors also. The mirrors are easy to install and remove. They’re very stable driving with minimal to no vibration. They do not touch the door when the mirrors are folded. I hope this helps.

Mine does contact the door painted surface a minor amount, enough to make a mark on the paint. I avoid folding the mirrors when they are on. Other than that very happy with them.
