Hey Angel, I checked with Curt and the hitch part # C13295 fits all models of the 2024 Ram Promaster except for ones with the remote proximity keyless entry. So as long as your EV model doesn't have that feature this will fit and work great.

Hey RG, anywhere you can get a solid grab with the frame clamps of the Thule Epos part # TH99XE will work great realistically. Technically the higher the mount the better leverage it would have over the bike so that would be a slightly more secure place to use. Hello Tom and welcome back! I just spoke to Roadmaster and their Rear Anti-Sway Bar item # RM52GR is going to work with the cargo van model of the 2025 Promaster 1500. He said suspension wise there's not going to be a difference between the cargo and passenger van models.
I was told to give you a heads up that the spacing is pretty tight around the right rear brake caliper.

This trailer hitch fits frames 18" to 51" wide, has a 2" class III receiver, and a nice 5,000 lb capacity! If you don't already have a rack, the Saris MHS DUO Bike Rack for 1 Bike # SAR23MR is a great choice and can handle a single bike that weighs up to 80 lbs.

How far out does the spare tire stick from the back door and how wide are your handle bars from the center to one of the tips?

I am sorry, but we do not have the spare tire mount to be able to put it on your driver side back door.
The best option we would have is to use a hitch mounted carrier like the Roadmaster Hitch Spare Tire Mount with 2" Receiver Opening - 2" Hitches # RM-195225, then you can add to that with an offset like the Roadmaster Passenger Tire Adapter for Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195225-95.

The spare tire release mechanism may be blocked following the installation of the # 75882 on your 2022 Ram ProMaster 1500. It is possible it won't but I wouldn't count on that. If you want to install this hitch I would expect to have to modify the mechanism so you can use the tool. We don't have specific instructions on modification so it would be up to you to figure out. Hey Albert, yeah finding the reverse light circuit on a vehicle can be somewhat challenging but I have some tips that will hopefully be helpful. So first thing to do is remove the interior panels on the rear hatch where the reverse lights are like you are going to replace the reverse light bulbs. Test the wires that lead to the socket with a tester like part # PTW2993 till you find the one that has voltage when reverse lights are on. Note the color of the wire.

My first thought here was to use a hitch mounted spare tire carrier like part # e98ZR, but in all likelihood, the bike rack on your rear door would interfere with the tire carrier, so that probably isn't the best option. You MIGHT be able to do a carrier mounted on the driver-side door like part # SU29AR, but again clearance would be really tight with the bike rack and bikes on there, so I don't really see that working.
