No. The 7-Way end in the # 47405 adapter is made for the North American style of 7-Way round pins. A European 7-Way, see picture, has separate turn signals and brake lights and a circuit for fog lamps. The tail lights are also separate.

I do have a trailer hitch receiver that will fit your 2004 Volvo XC70 but it has a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening, not a 2" receiver tube opening. They do not make one with such for your Volvo and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13559 that you referenced will not fit. The correct trailer hitch I recommend for you is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12318 which as previously mentioned has a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening.

Hi Steve; the Curt # 13266 doesn't change the fitment of the bumper cover. Everything still fits as intended and looks the same once the installation is complete. The little bit of extra material doesn't impact anything in a negative way. If you don't already have a 4-way you will need to add one using the # C56386. Then to convert to a 7-way you'd want the part # ETBC7 which also has a 4-way on the side of it. For your 2015 Volvo XC70 I would recommend the Curt # 13266 over the Draw-Tite # 75916. These trailer hitches have an almost identical design. Although the Draw-Tite has a higher towing capacity, it looks like both of the hitches exceed the towing capacity of your vehicle so you will be limited by your vehicle. I would double check the owner's manual to make sure.

I did some research on the 2004 Volvo XC70 factory roof rack and it looks like the bars attach to raised rails and the bars do not go through the feet so there is not any bar overhang. Yes, the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # TK94FR only needs power from the battery charge line, ground and stop/turn signals to function. The power is what gives the controller its power and it watches for power going to both the brake lights to activate. This is the reason you cannot use the emergency flashers with this controller.
