Hey Vin,
The instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C84ZV show an Impreza, which has the same frame as the WRX and shares many of the same components. Curt Lists this hitch as a fit for 2022 - 2024 Subaru WRX's. It's super common with some Hyundai and Kia vehicles to both use the same hitch so it's not uncommon for a certain hitch to fit multiple vehicles. Worst case scenario if it doesn't fit since we state it is a fit you can just return it. view full answer...
Hey Jeffrey, thanks for reaching out!
The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH65SR is the only option from EcoHitch for your 2023 Subaru WRX. This differs from the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7257 you were looking at in that the Stealth has a removable receiver that sits below the bumper. When securing the Stealth receiver to your WRX there is actually a bolt you'll need to tighten down and you'll use that hole in your bumper you referenced to accomplish this.

Hi Joel!
You can indeed purchase the towers and fit kit without the bars from the Yakima SkyLine Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points - RoundBar Crossbars - Steel - Black - Qty 2 # Y93FB for your 2020 Subaru WRX. I have those two parts listed below:
SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Fixed Mounting Points, Flush Rails, and Track Systems - Qty 4 # Y53TR
Landing Pad 22 for Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers - Qty 4 # Y00248
RoundBar SL Adapter for Yakima BaseLine, SkyLine, TimberLine,... view full answer...
Hello Dick; with that rear spoiler the only option is the SeaSucker Komodo # 298-BK1910-BK which is designed for 1 bike. For multiple bikes I would consider adding a hitch like # 306-X7257 and along with something like the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack # HLY94FR. You could also add a roof rack # RR86CG and use a roof bike rack like # S64720.
What kind of bikes are you carrying? view full answer...
Yes, the Yakima roof rack you mentioned that consists of part numbers # Y00425, # Y53TR, and # Y00233 is a confirmed fit for the roof of your 2018 Subaru WRX and would be a great option.
This would then be compatible with the Yakima Forklift part # Y02098 that you mentioned. view full answer...
The Thule WingBar Roof Rack # TH711420, # TH710501, and # TH145178 for your 2018 Subaru WRX that you have will have the front bar sit 9 inches from the windsheild line to the front of the front foot. Then the second bar will sit 31-1/8 inches behind it measured on center. view full answer...
Hey Colton! That 43216 U-bolt was discontinued by Thule. The only option we have for a replacement bolt/hardware is the complete mounting kit. The Replacement EasySnap Mounting Kit for Thule Cargo Boxes # TH05820 replaces the mounting hardware for the Thule Cascade XT 676, 677, and 678.
Other mounting hardware might work if you modified the box, but it won't be any easier to use than the EasySnap. You can try reaching out to Thule to see if they have the bolt, but I doubt they will with... view full answer...
Hey Edgar,
For the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C84ZV that fits your 2023 Subaru WRX, the ball mount/drawbar Curt recommends is the 2-5/8" Rise/3-1/4" Drop Curt Drawbar # C45521.
Just keep in mind this drawbar doesn't come with a pin and clip or hitch ball, so you'll need to get that separately. For the pin and clip use # F-4, or instead you can secure it with Hitch Lock # e98879. For a hitch ball, depending on your trailer coupler you'll need either 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # C40001 or 2"... view full answer...
Hey Bernard, yes the Curt hitch part # C84ZV is correct for your 2024 Subaru WRX and would be a great option for a small trailer. Then for trailer wiring the Curt # C56ZV is the correct fit and the ball mount part # e47DR would be a great option as well. view full answer...
Hey Kyle, yes we have the Curt hitch part # C84ZV that is a confirmed fit for your 2027 Subaru WRX which is a 1-1/4 inch hitch. Are you planning on doing some towing or carrying a bike rack? view full answer...
Hi Rick; looking at pictures of the diffuser along with the # 306-X7257 it is likely they won't interfere with each other. The screws for the diffuser and bolts from the hitch are in different locations. The only part I'm not sure about is where the brackets hang down on the hitch. I don't think there is a way to really tell if they will contact the diffuser or not without putting the two together and testing it.
What do you need the hitch for? view full answer...
Hey Judson, thanks for stopping by! Unfortunately the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7257 is not going to fit your 2022 Subaru WRX.
Instead, you'd need to use a different hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C84ZV. This hitch is a class I hitch so it's not as robust as the EcoHitch, unfortunately, but depending on what you have planned it still could work fine!
Let me know below what you have planned and I'd be happy to see if we can get you all worked out! view full answer...
Hey Logan, we sell replacement hitch install hardware for all of the hitches we carry with the part # RHK. You would need to enter your hitch part number on the product page and we will then ship you out the correct install hardware. Do you know the hitch part number you have and the brand? view full answer...
Hi Taylor,
The 18,000 lb 5th wheel hitch from Reese is the Elite Series, and because it was designed for the Elite puck system (which is the same as the Ford puck system), there isn't a way to convert it for use with industry standard base rails.
So you'd need a new hitch, and you should be able to sell the current one to offset the cost. For a high-quality 18k hitch, go with the B&W Patriot fixed hitch # BWRVK3255 or sliding hitch # BWRVK3270. view full answer...
Good question, and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C84ZV that fits your 2022 Subaru WRX will come out underneath the bumper and not through a bumper cut out.
Curt doesn't have a great photo of this installed, so I added a cut out below from the instructions which show the # C84ZV being put on a WRX which shows that it goes under the bumper. view full answer...
Yes we do! We have the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7257 for your 2020 Subaru WRX that fits behind the center section of the lower fascia of your WRX and gives you a totally hidden look I attached a picture of what it looks like as well as an install video for more info as well. view full answer...
Thank you for all that info, and replacing the equalizers, as well as upgrading the suspension hardware is going to be the best option for you. The correct size equalizer, as well as the suspension kit that I recommend is the following:
- Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Double Eye Spring - 7-3/4" Long - 9/16" Hole # A2252CB-GALV
- MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR76ZR
The MORryde kit will give you a much-upgraded suspension kit. The reason for that is its 1/2 inch... view full answer...
So there isn't an exact amount of material needed to be removed when enlarging the access hole on your Subaru WRX when installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C84ZV.
You'll use a die grinder for this and you'll just enlarge it until you can get the 1/2" fasteners through. Typically this isn't much, about 1/4" or so, but they don't give an exact amount because that is very, very difficult to quantify when doing the install. view full answer...
I do have a solution for you, but will not involve the Lockrack Loading Bar. You will still have to remove, or adjust the orientation, of the arms for this solution to work, but this method would be your only option. You can use the following items to help you load your kayak with the Lockrack Loading Bar.
The Rhino-Rack Universal Load Assist - Crossbar Mount - Side Loading - 132 lbs, part # RR-RUSL. This load assist bar clamps to your roof top rack and it has a weight limit of 132 lbs.... view full answer...
The EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7257 weighs about 30 lbs. The good thing is the weight of the hitch itself does not count towards any weight capacities of your vehicle because it is attached to the frame. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
I recommend the EcoHitch because of it's 2" hitch receiver which is much more versatile when it comes to accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. There are much more options for bike racks available... view full answer...
