I spoke with my contact at Lippert and this is what they sent me about the external sensor issue you have:
External sensor error means there is an issue with the rear leveling sensor. This will be located 2-3 foot behind the rearmost axle. There may be an access panel in the underbelly, or there may not. Typically this error is due to a bad connection to the sensor or the sensor itself is bad. I attached a picture of what the sensor looks like in the second picture. The first picture is... view full answer...
One would think that with the E6 error code on the Power Watchdog # HU87FR, the code would pop virtually right away, and not after being hooked up for several hours. Generally the E6 code is a sign that something is wrong with the plug you are using, and not the watchdog unit. It is possible that something is wrong with the watchdog unit itself. The best way to be sure is to plug the unit in to a different power source and see if you get the same E6 error code. If you continue to get the... view full answer...
It sounds like you either have a lose connection or a just a bad controller. I would start by ensuring your wires are making full contact in the controller and the motor and that you don't have any cuts or damage in the wires along the way that could be causing a short. Check to see if there's power at the motor while pressing the extend or retract buttons to narrow down the issue to the controller or wiring between the motor and the controller. You'll need a minimum of 11.5v for the system... view full answer...
Power runs to the backup camera part # FOS05TASF when the trailer is put in reverse. There is a switch in your reverse wiring that trips the camera to turn on. You do have to be plugged into the 7-way on your towed vehicle. view full answer...
There are a few possibilities as to why only one side of your Thomas Payne Momentum RV Dual Reclining Sofa is acting up (or not acting up at all in your case).
There are 3 components that allow the recliner to operate the lights, massage, and heater. These are the Cup Holder # 195-387597, Control Box # 195-387596, and the 12V Power Cord # 195-387595. To determine which of these components needs to be replaced simply try using parts from the side that is working.
Start off by swapping... view full answer...
Furrion Vision S RV Camera Systems like the # FOS43TASF have a 492' range so the length of your trailer isn't to blame here. Most likely the unit is getting enough power to turn on and sometimes pair and then loses the signal as the voltage drops. The solution to this is to pull the camera back off of the trailer and splice in the PWM Wiring Adapter # VGR64VR behind it so that it gets a steady 12 volts in order to properly operate.
I've attached a video below where I'll walk you through... view full answer...
Yes, you will definitely need the PWM Filter # VGR64VR to properly power your Furrion Vision S RV Camera System # FOS43TASF. In 2020 GM switched to PWM wiring so your 2023 will send a constant 12 volts to the camera, which typically leads to a lot of connectivity issues.
There is the Furrion adapter # FR87PR as well, but with GM's towing technology it's going to keep sending you an error on the in-dash monitor saying you aren't connected to the trailer or that you need check your running... view full answer...
It sounds like you have adjusted the brake output on your controller but may need to perform some other maintenance for your brakes to work properly. If you have a Prodigy brake controller, you most likely have the original or the P2 # 90885. To test your controller, you can use a circuit tester like # ALL640595 to test the brake output pin of your 7-way at the 5 o'clock pin while using the manual override. If this increasingly gets stronger, your brake controller is not the issue. ... view full answer...
There are a couple of reasons why the Furrion Chill Premium RV Air Conditioner System # FACR15SA-BL may be short cycling. While it could be a faulty unit or thermostat, often times the issue can be air blowing at the thermostat; when the thermostat senses cold air, it will turn on and off quickly - short cycling. If you can re-direct the air to not blow right on or near the thermostat that may resolve the issue.
Also try running just the fan as this can also resolve the issue. Another... view full answer...
The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps, like part # MR58RR, actually have an adjustment you can make on the latch that I recommend looking at before you start cutting into anything (see attached).
If you aren't able to adjust the latch so that you can properly close your screen door I recommend modifying the door as opposed to removing the latch as the steps are designed to use both right and left latches to secure the stairs during travel. view full answer...
First of all I can confirm that the Electric Heat Strip for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners - 5,500 BTU item # ACMHD is the correct unit for the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner - 13,500 Btu - White item # ACM135. It sounds like your A/C unit is pulling to much power or has a fault somewhere in the wiring. I recommend looking for any faults in your wiring and check for lose connections. You could also have a bad breaker that needs to be replaced. view full answer...
I reached out to my contact at Lippert about what might be going on with your Never Fail bushings, like what comes with kit # LC281285, and he said that it sounds like you may be using the Never Fail bushings to push out your bronze bushings. If this is the case then that could very well cause the "balloon" effect that you show in your picture as the bronze bushings are stronger than the Never Fail bushings. Please also note that you won't be replacing the bushing in the top of the Equa-Flex... view full answer...
Thank you for reaching out about the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ 3 LED Marker Light Cameras # FR98NR (or at least that's what it sounds like you're referring to).
The camera and lights for this kit actually have their own separate wiring so you'll need to check the power wire for the driver side camera - this should be the red wire. Check that the connection is good but also that the wire is actually getting power. You can do this by connecting it to a different... view full answer...
This can be caused by a couple different things. The Controller # C51180 have a loose connection in the vehicle's 7 Way plug. They can start to back out from said plug causing intermittent connection. If the controller can be pushed in and then pulled out a little after the 7 Way door comes down to hold the controller in place, a shim may be needed to keep the controller fully seated.
I spoke to Curt and they said if the controller is seated properly in the 7 Way on the vehicle, it is... view full answer...
Your Lippert # LC298707 Electric Stabilizer Jack is also known as the "PSX1" jack. There are a few possible issues at hand and with a bit of testing we can probably narrow in on the malfunction. First I have attached a wiring schematic for this system. Note that there should be an inline fuse between the battery and the switch. Verify that the fuse is not blown using an electrical tester like the Performance Tools # PT89ZR.
If you have power there, then trace the power to the extend/retract... view full answer...
The first thing you will need to do is obtain a multimeter. Once you have this then you will need to use the ground probe (black handle) and place that on the green wire coming from the back of the harness and then use the power probe (red handle) and place that on the black wire coming from the back of the harness. You should read 12 volts but if you do not have 12 volts you will need to trace this wire back while checking for shorts. It will be a good idea to check the batteries to make... view full answer...
First you will want to use a Test Light # PTW2993 to verify if you are getting power to the switch on your stabilizer. There will be 4 wires to the Switch # LC387874. The 2 wires going away from the stabilizer are going to be the power and ground circuits. There should be either a fuse or circuit breaker installed before the switch but this could be located on the front of the camper near the battery or the manufacturer could have wired it inside your fuse panel inside the camper.

The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras # FCE48TASL-05 can either be powered by the running lights (which is why you have to physically turn yours on) or off of the reverse lights, which means it would only power on when you put your vehicle in reverse. The way your camera system has been wired in is the most popular installation method as it will allow you to activate your cameras at any time.
As for the screen not viewing all camera views,... view full answer...
