Hooking up a trailer or loading heavy gear can make the rear end sag and throw off your handling. This SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit adds up to 1,900 lbs of rear suspension support by bolting helper leaf springs above your factory springs. They lift and stabilize the rear when hauling or towing, keeping your ride level and steering confident without bottoming out.

Crosswinds, road dips, or trailer sway can push your truck around. These helper springs work like sway bars to keep the factory springs from twisting and cut body roll by up to 30 percent. The result is a more stable, planted feel when cornering, passing semis, or driving in windy conditions.
There’s no need to add air or make manual adjustments. Rollers on each end of the SuperSprings engage automatically as the factory springs flex under load, then back off when they’re not needed. The system adapts on its own to your payload, giving you consistent support without maintenance or air pressure checks.
Different loads call for different setups. Adjustable shackles let you choose how much support and lift you want—select a higher setting for constant heavy loads or an aging suspension, a lower one to keep the stock ride feel, or a middle position that balances comfort and height. It’s simple to set up for how you use your truck.
Installation is straightforward—just bolt the helper springs above your existing leaf pack with no drilling required. Dense polyurethane pads seat between the spring sets to prevent shifting, and the high-grade steel construction means reliable performance that helps extend the life of your brakes, tires, and factory suspension.

This kit is designed to fit a vehicle with factory top overload springs. As shown in the picture above, a top overload spring sits above the factory leaf spring pack.

Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the SuperSprings custom sway control and stabilizer kit. This relieves a lot of issues that come up whenever you're putting some extra weight in the back end of your vehicle. Maybe you're putting in some big toolboxes, converting your truck into a work truck, or any time you're just putting a constant load into your vehicle that you're going to have all the time. It affects the overall handling of your vehicle. It doesn't stop as effectively, it can cause the vehicle to bottom out more, and just makes the overall ride experience more uncomfortable.
So by putting these in there, this is basically going to just stiffen up our suspension. It's pretty much just adding an extra leaf spring to your suspension already. If you compare this to other suspension enhancement systems, I think this is a pretty nice way to go, if you have a constant load, again, in your vehicle. If you are going to be varying the load, maybe you're carrying a fifth wheel camper or something like that, where you're going to be putting weight in and taking it back out, something that's adjustable, like air springs would be better. The downside to air springs is that they take a lot of maintenance. You've got to worry about your air lines and keeping air in the bags and worrying about if those air lines are going to get messed up or anything if you're going to be a little bit rougher with your truck or anything like that.
So they can be kind of tedious. A lot of times, it's a good idea to get compressor. Compressors are expensive. So that's something to think about there. If you compare this to other systems that are static, like a solid spring, like a jounce bumper style enhancement, these are nice because they're not going to have that sort of rough engagement like a lot of jounce style springs will. There's usually a gap in between the frame or the axle and the spring itself or the bumper itself.
So whenever it finally hits, you really feel that smack and it can really feel bumpy and uncomfortable. If that spring is constantly engaged, it's usually better, but if you're just putting weight in this all the time, this is a really good solution for you. So, great idea for work trucks or anything else that's going to be under a constant load.So let's take a closer look, talk a little bit more about how this is going to install. Basically, these just go right over the top of your spring pack. So again, there's no cutting or drilling required with these.
They just sit right on top. You do get some of these polyurethane bushings, which kind of sit over that spring pack and make sure that there's no movement for your spring. It comes with two different kinds. It kind of depends on your install as far as which one you'll use, but it does come with instructions on how to do that. Also comes with a bracket that's going to go towards the front end of the spring, or towards the front end of your vehicle. There's a little bit of adjustability as far as how much engagement you get out of these springs. You can see we'll have our bolts for wrapping around our spring pack there, the bottom holes, for a little bit gentler support. So if you just need a little bit of help there, that bottom hole should work out fine. If you find that you need a bit more, you can put it into the top hole on either side. And then if you feel like you needed somewhere kind of in the middle, you can do one low one high or vice versa to kind of give that Goldilocks feel. So you have three different choices as far as how much these are going to provide support.Again, just wraps right over your suspension. You will need to lift the vehicle off the ground a little bit, just that back end, to let the axle hang a little. Nothing too bad. You do want to make sure that you're being safe with that. Do it on a level surface, using jacks, supporting everything, and staying safe while you're getting this installed. But pretty straightforward as far as that goes. And no maintenance, which is always nice. So you just put it in there and forget about it, once you get everything adjusted where you want it to be.This is a custom fit for the 2017 through the current year model of the Ford F-350. That's for the two wheel drive and the four wheel drive. And that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the custom fit SuperSprings for sway control and stabilizing. As far as weight capacity, they do have a weight capacity of 1900 pounds. That doesn't increase the overall payload or towing capacity of your truck. You still want to go by all of the manufacturer's recommended weights. It's just kind of like having a brace there for helping to lift weight more effectively and safely, rather than helping you to max out at a higher level, if that makes sense. So I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right kit for you. Again, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. We've got all kinds of accessories for your trucks and trailers, so check them out. Thanks for watching.

The product works great after a year. I highly recommend the super springs for any heavy loads. After they are installed you never need to worry about the load.

Thanks for your feedback, Bob! We’re glad to hear the shackles made a noticeable improvement in your ride quality. We appreciate you pointing out the fitment challenge and the issue with the instructions, I'll pass it on to SuperSprings.

They are working out fantastically! Now we dont bottom out and damage the sewer dump. Weve been all a long road trips and nothing is bothering us now in regards to suspension.

Works great towing and seems to help with some sag and roll. I use them along with airbags so towing my fifth wheel is now worry free.

That is great to hear! I am glad this addition has worked well for your setup. What RV do you have that you added this too?
