Insert these helper springs in between the individual coil loops in your rear coil springs to defeat driver fatigue and add better support for heavy loads. Most factory coil suspensions have a difficult time hauling added weight. The rear coils may struggle with supporting the extra load placed on your rear axle when you're towing a trailer or using a hitch-mounted cargo carrier or bike rack. If your coil springs are totally squished under a load, the lack of shock absorption can be harsh on your backside, especially if you spend long hours sitting in your vehicle while driving to your campsite.

Coil SumoSpring installed between rungs of coil spring

Inside each helper spring, a core of microcellular polyurethane foam adds cushioning between your coils to make your ride more comfortable. Each doughnut-shaped spring has H-shaped channels at the top and bottom that fit to the rung of an individual coil in your rear coil springs. The cushioning absorbs shock, but also works progressively to better support weight, keeping your truck level.

Unlike air springs that fit inside your coil springs, these polyurethane springs require no air pressure monitoring, and they are easier to install. Say goodbye to air lines, valves and air tanks and hello to maintenance-free suspension support. Unbumpify your ride with Coil SumoSprings for coil suspensions.

  • Rear Suspension Enhancement For A 2014 Ford Explorer
The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Rear Axle Item # CSS-1069R are not compatible with your 2014 Ford Explorer. To help the sag I recommend the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear Item # AL60821. The bags fit inside the coil springs and have a 1000lb load leveling capacity. You can add the minimum amount of air when unloaded to remove the sag and add pressure when loaded to help maintain a level stance while supporting the load of...

  • SumoSprings Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2009 Subaru Outback Wagon
Yes, there are SumoSprings available that are confirmed to fit your 2009 Subaru Outback Wagon. If you have the H6 engine you would want the part # CSS-1069R. If you do not have the H6 engine you would want the part # CSS-1094R. Other customers who have bought these two part numbers have left reviews saying the install was pretty easy and that removing the wheels helped. Soapy water can also be used if the spring is being stubborn.

  • Recommended Coil SumoSprings For A 2008 Ford Expedition
Though we do not have rear coil SumoSprings confirmed to fit your 2008 Ford Expedition we do have front axle coil Sumosprings for your vehicle. Using the front coils will help with the swag towards the front but not the rear. Depending on if your Expedition is a 2WD or 4WD we have the correct part for you. For the 2WD The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Front Axle # CSS-1168F and if you have a 4WD The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil...

  • Determining Which Rear Suspension Enhancement Fits 2016 Kia Sorento
I would be happy to help you find the correct Coil SumoSpring for your 2016 Kia Sorento, but you will need to measure the distance between the middle coils on your vehicle as there are no options that are confirmed to fit at this time. When taking this measurement you will need to have the vehicle on the ground, and make sure that the measurement you get is within 1/4" of the other side. The # CSS-1069R you were looking at fits coil springs that have a gap of 3/8". If this is what the...

  • Comparing TImbren Jounce-Style and Coil SumoSprings for a 2012 Ford Flex
I personally prefer the Timbren Kit # TFRFLX over the Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1069R for your 2012 Ford Flex basically because the Coil SumoSprings are kind of pressed into place and then secured with zip ties to help keep them where they need to be while the Timbrens are secured in place by a bolt. Both will do a great job at adding support to your suspension but in this comparison I'd go with the Timbren kit. Pro Tip - Make sure that your weight distribution (WD) system is rated properly...

  • Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Rear Axle - 2010 Subaru Outback
The SuperSprings Coil SumoSprings would be an excellent addition to your 2010 Subaru Outback Wagon to help reduce sag when you are carrying your motorcycle. Once the SumoSprings are installed, they will not raise the rear of your Outback. They are simply there to keep the rear coil springs from compressing as much when there is a load. To answer your second question, the difference between the SumoSprings, part # CSS-1069R and part # CSS-1094R, are their size. The number in the part number...

In your 1999 Honda CR-V you can use SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1069R in the rear coil springs to add suspension support. They are designed to work with a suspension system that is in good working order to provide additional stiffness when under load. The Super Springs Coil Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1125R fit later model years of the CR-V but not your 1999.

  • Is There a Rear Helper Spring Available for a 2012 Mercedes GLK350 4matic?
If you are experiencing sag while towing, we may have an option available for you, but, the suspension enhancement systems that we carry do not have an application that fits your 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLK350, unfortunately. This is most likely due to how your rear suspension is designed and operates. A lot of luxury vehicles have specially designed suspension to provide the best handling and ride possible. Some of these systems are also controlled by an on-board computer and adding suspension...
