Notes:
Start your engine easier and warm your cab faster in cold weather with this frost-plug-style engine block heater. Heating your engine coolant keeps it from thickening and freezing, resulting in more reliable start-ups and smoother operation altogether. It also lessens the workload and extends the life of your vehicle's battery. And because starting your engine when it's warm creates less condensation in the engine block than starting it when it's cold, your engine will get better initial fuel vaporization, which causes fewer emissions and less pollution.
This frost-plug heater replaces the core plug in your engine block. The power cord on the heater is removable so that you won't need to buy a whole new heater if the cord gets damaged. The cord can be routed through your grille for easy access to a 120-volt outlet or extension cord. If needed, a longer or shorter cord (sold separately) can be purchased to better fit your application. Make sure the heating element is fully submerged in the coolant before plugging it in.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kats Heaters 120 volt, 400 watt frost plug style custom engine Block heater. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit many years, makes and models of the Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles that have the 3.7 liter V6 and the 4.7 liter V8 engines. And because it fits so many different makes and models, what I do recommend is for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now this part will ensure smoother startups and faster heating and defrosting of your cab.
Basically this plug right here, this will replace your frost plug, or the core plug that's in your engine block, and it'll submerge in the coolant. When you plug it in, it'll warm the engine fluid to increase lubrication and performance. Keeps the fluid from thickening, protects against damage in cold weather. It does preheat the engine to reduce condensation in the engine block, so it emits less pollution and fewer gas emissions. The cord, if you unravel it, is about five foot long.
It is a removable power cord. You can just pull it here and unplug it from the plug. Basically, it'll route through your grill and plug into your standard 120 volt AC outlet. The plug itself is constructed of corrosion resistant brass, and it is a custom fit for your vehicle. It is designed to fit into the plug size of a 35 millimeter diameter.
It is CSA approved. It is made in the USA. Wattage is 600 watts, amperage five amps. Couple notes on this as you do not wanna use this heater with a hundred percent anti-free solution, and you do not wanna start your engine with the heater plugged in. But that should do it for a look at the Kats Heaters 120 volt, 400 watt frost plug style custom engine block heater.

Thank you!
