For your 2007 Dodge Ram 4.7L, I recommend the Kat's Heaters Custom Engine Block Heater - Frost Plug Style - 120V - 600 Watts - 35 mm, # KH11618. This replaces the frost plug in your engine block and submerges in the coolant to keep engine fluids from thickening. This will allow you to have easier start-ups faster heating of your cab, and less wear and tear on your vehicle in cold weather. This is the only engine block heater available.

Your other options are Ether Start Fluid Injection Systems. They inject ether into your intake manifold to get fast reliable start ups. They connect to the battery, so there is no cable, but the fluid doesn't warm until the engine warms. This is a great way to ensure starting, but the other components will still need a little time to warm up.
There is a pull knob option # KH33180, a push button option # KH33112, and an ignition switch option # KH33220 for your vehicle. Ether is not included with these kits.
