Quality was good. But it just doesn't fit. Wish someone made one just for my truck. Installing it over the factory plastic panel just wasn't going to work. I removed the factory plastic panel on the tailgate and filled the holes with some wood panels. The width of the mat didn't cover the whole tailgate, so I cut the bottom 3 inches of plastic panel off and reinstalled it. There just has to be a better way. I do like the nonslip, more or less flat, surface. It does make the tailgate heaver and affects the auto open/close working of the tailgate.

GMC Sierra
This mat does not fit my 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 with 69" bed. Cuts are accurate however the mat is too long and too wide.

2008 Dodge Dakota
The tonneau by Access is great as usual with good fit and quality. The tonneau is capable of handling high tension which helps prevent pooling. There is barely any rain water standing. The effect is almost like a solid surface. Caution on the ladder racks you pair them with though as the rack may prevent the tonneau from gaining maximum tension wich will cause more pooling than desired. I paired the with the recommended TracRac for the sliding adjustable rails. They do fit however the bulky base rail of the TracRac is too close to the sides of the tonneau and prevents my fingers from getting in there to pull the tonneau tight on the velcro sides. It's doable but very time consuming and not ideal if you open and close the tonneau frequently. I would propose that Access make some design tweaks to resolve this and better complement the TracRac base rails since it is one of the few racks that have a high load capacity. Other than that the tonneau cover is the best quality I have used for a roll up. Still have the same one on my 03 Dakota since 2008.

Hard to clean off, wish it was like my tailgate protector, it has a nice smooth rubber finish, other than that it’s doing what there suppose to do.

What a great tailgate mat. I replaced a cheap one that I tripped over every time I got on the tailgate because it wouldn't lay flat. No tripping with this HD version. Fast shipping too! Great job etrailer!

2018 GMC Sierra
The product is very heavy thick and did not fit a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500. This is supposed to be a universal fit but there's no way that this would fit. Crystal was very courteous sent me a label to send it back which I did and they will credit my account minus the shipping to send it back. I was very pleased overall with the service that I received definitely would do business with this place again and I have numerous times in the last month.

According to DeeZee, the tailgate mat may require trimming in order to fit the tailgates of some trucks.

The product looks like new I have a tonneau cover on over it but its held up very well and Im very pleased with it.I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for something to keep your box from getting scratched up.

Ram 2500
The tailgate mat will be a life saver on the tailgate of our new 2021 Chevy 2500 Crew Cab. Our maintenance crew will often use the tailgate of a truck as a work bench and they also slide a lot of materials in and out of the truck bed. This mat will certainly give some need protection to the tailgate on a new truck.

I made the order blindly without any advance knowledge of what I would receive. etrailer gave a good description so I took a chance at a reasonable cost and ordered. I received the order two days before the expected delivery date. Installation took 45 minutes and this was the final step in a $150.00 truck bed protection effort (includes a rubber mat) for the bed instead of $450.00 spray in truck bed liner. Great product I received it with a small blemish in the very center of the mat about 8 x 8 in very center. Very well-made complements the truck well. One downfall that I expect is from the factory is when they rolled up the mat for shipping they rolled it from the front I wish they reverse rolled it and you can just roll it from the tailgate to the cab. All in all very satisfied ,great product would recommend it.
