This tool box has worked fantastic for my needs. I mounted it to the front of the deck on my 24' trailer and after one year it still looks brand new. The lock functions as it should, and everything still stays nice and dry inside. I have eight large ratchet straps, my 10 ton bottle jack, trailer locks, wheel chocks, and extra blocks of wood with plenty of room to spare. Was a great addition to my trailer.

I'm happy with it. I drilled drains in to it, during HEAVY storming it got about 3/8" of water in it. Also had to play with striker and lock adjustments for it to close and lock well.

Box looks great and shipped on time. May want to package a little better to help minimize damage. Nothing wrong with mine but would be easy to damage in shipping.

Recommended Chest Toolbox For The etrailer Cargo Carrier For RV Bumpers
The UWS 48" Standard Chest Toolbox # UWS01020 is 24" wide x 48" long x 20" tall. Since the inside of the 24x84 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper # e96ZR is 24" wide so you'll probably have a hard time getting it in place. We do carry a smaller UWS tool chest at 20" wide # UWS01022 if you would prefer to not have to fight to get it in place.

How Much Does UWS 48" Standard Chest for UWS Hitch Cargo Carrier Weigh
The UWS 48" Standard Chest for UWS Hitch Cargo Carrier part # UWS01022 is Aluminum so it is going to be lightweight compared to other toolboxes. It weighs about 45 lbs so you would want to make sure not to exceed the weight capacity of the cargo carrier on the back of your motor home. Since cargo carriers carried on the back of a motor home have a tendency to bounce around more than on a vehicle hitch I recommend mounting the tool box to the cargo carrier with self tapping screws like part...

How Does The UWS Standard Chest Stand Up To The Elements
The UWS Chest part # UWS01022 is designed to be used in a cargo carrier outside in the elements. The extra-thick aluminum construction is rust resistant. UWS builds their boxes from sheets of 0.058" thick aluminum. Then they weld the seams for moisture and rain protection. You will also not see very much fading or sun damage with the aluminum material. The UWS Chest measures 48" long x 20" wide x 20" deep so as long as your cargo rack is big enough this box will work well for your application.

Recommended Truck Box for 2018 Toyota Tundra That Fits 20-lbs Propane Tank
I may have a solution, but most standard 20-lbs propane tanks are 17-3/4" tall and 12-1/4" wide, so the UWS Truck Toolbox # UWS01034 will be just slightly too small since it's only 17-1/4" deep. Instead, you can use something like the UWS part number # UWS01022, which 48" long x 20" tall x 20" wide, so it would be big enough to fit a propane tank in, standing up.

Which Cargo Carrier for UWS 11.1 Cubic Foot Cargo Chest UWS01022
At one time, UWS made a comparable hitch mounted cargo carrier, but that's no longer available. No worries, though as the Reese # 63153 with its 60 x 24 inside dimensions would work well for the UWS # UWS01022 cargo box. Storage Cargo Box Similar to DeeZee Toolbox # DZ75 That Has Lid on Top of Box
The lid seal of the DeeZee Specialty Series Underbody Toolbox # DZ75 would work really well with the lid on the top of the box. It arguably would seal better in this orientation. The chain is also long enough to allow the lid to open up beyond totally vertical too so it wouldn't want to fall down and shut as soon as you let it go. It doesn't have any shocks or struts to hold open though. We have a similar dimension UWS box part # UWS01022 that was designed to open up like you are wanting...
