This water-resistant bag lets you transport up to 15 cu ft of gear on your hitch-mounted cargo carrier, leaving more passenger room and trunk space. It is made of a heavy-duty vinyl with welded seams and zipper flaps to keep your cargo dry. It carries luggage, skis, sports equipment, camping gear, and anything else that will fit inside. The zippers wrap around 3 sides of the bag so it opens wide for easy loading and access to your cargo. And the bag can be used in your truck bed, trunk or even a roof-mounted cargo basket.
The Amigo is constructed of heavy-duty vinyl that is resistant to cuts and tears. It's water resistant so your cargo stays dry, and it provides protection from sun, dirt, and road debris. The bag also has welded seams for added weather protection.
The Amigo has 2 zippers with oversize pulls that are easy to find and guide around the bag. The zippers wrap around 3 sides of the bag so you can fully open the top for easy loading and access to your gear. Each zipper pull has a 3/8" diameter hole that accepts a padlock (sold separately) so you can secure your gear inside the bag.
6 Integrated tie-down straps with buckles secure the bag to your carrier. Simply wrap each strap around a secure location on your carrier and tighten it with the buckle. Built-in fasteners bind any access strap length to prevent flapping.
There are 6 steel oval rings for fastening the straps to holes in the carrier.
The bag is flexible so you can fold it up for storage when it isn't being used.

Speaker 1: Today, we'll be taking a look at and showing you to install, the Reese Explore Hitch Cargo Carrier bag, part number: PS63604.This is a water-resistant cargo bag that holds up to 15 cubic feet of gear and it's perfect for your hitch cargo carrier in your truck bed or on your roof-mounted cargo carrier. It would be great for carrying luggage sporting equipment, camping gear or other large items. The cargo bag is made out of a heavy-duty vinyl construction, so it's going to protect your cargo from sun, rain, dirt and road debris; and the bag is going to resist punctures or tears. The hook-and-loop closures are going to hold our bag closed, and the welded seams of our zippers are going to prevent moisture from getting into our bag.The bag attaches to our cargo carrier using six adjustable, durable straps. If you don't have raised rails on your carrier, our bag is going to include six rings, which we can attach our straps to and secure those to the holes on our walled cargo carriers. The bag itself is going to measure 59 inches long by 18-and-a-half inches wide by 24 inches tall and have 15 cubic feet of space. The attached zippers are going to open up on three sides of our bag, allowing us to gain access inside our cargo bag. We do have the option to add on a small padlock, which is available at etrailer.com, to secure your gear inside and prevent theft and tampering. The Reese Explore Cargo Bag also folds up for compact storage.
This will be great inside your trunk, hatch or inside your garage. Now, that we've gone over some features, we'll show you how we secure this to our cargo carrier. We're going to start by taking the shorter end of our strap around our rail, feeding our strap through the top and then down through the bottom. We'll pull our strap through, but we don't want to tighten it up all the way since we still have to secure the top. Here at the top, we're going to secure our strap to the top buckle the same way we did the bottom. We'll tighten down both the top and bottom strap, then we'll repeat that same process for all our other straps. I would suggest tucking in or tying up the excess strap so they don't fly around when driving down the road. That's going to be our completed look at the Reese Explorer Hitch Cargo Carrier Bag, part number: PS63604..

Was able to get 5 carry on bags in here and still have room for one more and still room in back of carry on. No issue blocking taillight. Only thing I’m not sure about is top of straps probably will get cargo net or a couple bungee cords but will be trying out this weekend .
I haven't used this bag yet, but it looks to be sturdy and well constructed. The securing straps are a good, extra bonus. Hopefully it will keep most water out. I'll find out in a few weeks when we hit the road.
The velcro that closes the flap is only glued on and started coming off within 2 months and two camping trips. This is pretty disappointing since you'd think this would be sewn on. Velcro flaps get used all the time, and this is a week point for the product. I reached out to etrailer two months after purchase, but was required to pay for shipping if I wanted the product replaced or repaired. Not super happy with those options.
I research a lot before I purchase anything- the customer service when I called about the product as well as when I ordered was over the top good. I even got a personal email from the sales dept with tracking update to ensure I would receive before my trip! It stores an insane amount, the zippers, storm flap, and tie down straps are high quality. The real test was driving through an extremely strong thunderstorm for 5 hours at over 70 mph. When I got to my destination everything was tight and bone dry!
This product goes great with the 19x60 aluminum Curt cargo carrier. It's got loads of volume and the material is very heavy duty. Once you have your load strapped down, it's going to stay put. The instructions say it is NOT water proof. That's true, but it is NEARLY waterproof. I drove 1600 miles round trip through a monsoon in both directions. I got a little water in through the zipper on the side; probably because the flap was not completely folded down on that side. No other water got through along the front.
So far, I have used the bag once. For the price, it seems to be a great value. Mild rain while on the road, and interior stayed dry. Use this on a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, and it attaches securely. A big improvement would be to use some sort of adjustable buckle/clip for the straps on the opening side. As they are, you have to undo the strap every time, which is a bit of a pain. I still recommend this bag as a very good value.
My first trip with this it rained most of the way home ~4 hours, and I was pleasantly surprised that it stayed dry inside. Not sure how long the material will last before it starts to crack and let some water seep in. It's a little hard getting the zipper around the corners from the lip that hangs down over the zipper but I just flip it inside out to get the zipper through the corner. Wish it had handles on the sides so I could get somebody's help on the other side and carry the whole thing off the cargo hitch and into where we're staying instead of having to unload everything out of it.
It's the one I ordered so it's awesome. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but the free shipping was quick.
Cannot keep water out of the bag. Must waterproof anything you put into it.

You mentioned that it does not keep your gear dry. I have a few questions that I wanted to ask. Does it happen every time that it rains? To be more specific does it happen with all type of rain?
Great waterproof item on market for tra veling
I have ordered several items from etrailer and each time I’ve been so impressed with the service but also how they personally take interest in my orders. I love that in this day where everything is so impersonal. Thank you, etrailer for your incredible customer service!
Worked well, kept everything dry while driving in the rain.
Fantastic product: easy set up.
Kept my luggage and coolers dry and clean from the Midwest’s winter slop - freezing rain, slush, and snow.
This was our third cargo bag and it's the only one I can recommend. It's held up perfectly and kept everything clean and dry.
great add-on for traveling. We put all our luggage and coolers in the cargo carrier.
Keeps items dry in rain as well. Easy to use
Made several purchases here, best prices, great customer service, reliable, have never let me down.
Was just as I thought it would be. Good job etrailer
Double Outstanding
1 year thus far holding up to rain, sleet and snow. Main leak point is the zipper, just double bag any precious cargo to ensure water integrity.
AWESOME . FIRST TIME USING FOR CAMPING AND OF COURSE IT RAINED..
EVERYTHING WAS DRY , HOLDS MUCH MORE THAN ANTICIPATED.
Taken it on a 4-5 trips now and still works great. Keeps everything dry.
Prompt, convenient service, as usual. Product was much better that I expected.
Amazing team! Arrived on time for our multi state road trip!!
