Surface-mount lights install flat against the surface of the trailer, so a hole does not need to be cut into the trailer for the light. This type of light is installed using a flange or bracket that has mounting holes. And mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.
A PC-rated light produces a 90-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you are standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. When properly installed, this type of light can function as both a front clearance light and a side marker light or as a rear clearance light and a side marker light.

It was intimidating at first, but having the instructions right next to the unit it wasn't too difficult to figure out. I only wish there was a way to turn off battery charging without disconnecting the whole DC, so when i'm running off the battery, it's not trying to also charge it
Installed LED trailer lights. They work well, easy install. Night and day difference
from old lights. Recommend switch to LED.
Did not realize how much I missed having the light when trailering at night. Very bright!

Great quality light. Is install and super bright. Would buy again.
The lights are exactly as advertised. Very bright. I had previously replaced the incandescent bulbs with led bulbs which was an improvement but these are at least twice as bright as that. Also the back of the fixture has a hollow space that allows for the fact that the original wires were in a different location than on these. Therefore very easy to install.
Replacing incandescent marker/ clearance lights with LED. These items were easy to find on the website, the order process was smooth, shipping was quick, and install super easy. As long as they last as they should this is a no brainer. First time using etrailer.com, definitely won’t be my last!
Products are what they, I find eTrailer sells quality items. More impressive is the customer service. I've just completed my 4th order and have consistently received above average customer service. I've utilized both email & phone to resolve issues (issues that were totally if my own doing) & the response was timely & professional. The product itself is good as always. I do wish on the other-hand that someone would have called or emailed me when there was a duplicate order. I now have double what i need and yes etrailer was able to get me return info but its a pain in the ass to get it returned for me.
I am using them for turn signal lights on a new trailer I pull behind my trike. They work great.
The product arrived on time and in good condition. The replacement product was as described and works well. The vendor was very easy to work with and kept me updated on all aspects of the transaction. I would have no problem recommending them. All in all, a positve experience.
