Looks really beefy but with the amount of money you spend you would expect good paint and a square product but mine came with the safety chain bracket crooked and stickers falling off and paint dinged up pretty good wouldn’t have gone this far over paint and stickers but the bracket being out of square bothers the * *** out of me and isn’t right

1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 Heavy Duty
Great product that I know is sturdy. Had a small installation issue. Apparently when it was made it wasn't formed properly. When installing it on my 97 f250hd I had to use a bottle jack and a 2x4 in between it to push the bolt holes inline with the truck frame by a good 2 inches. Not to complicated but for a moment it made me think I was sent the wrong item. Other issue I had was the video instructions did not pull up after scanning the Qr code on multiple phones. Great product and would buy again just wish it lined up properly.

It sounds like that the side brackets were knocked out of alignment. This can happen while in transit to our facility or to you. We do have a great FAQ that provides ways to move the brackets back into alignment so the hitch can be installed.

1996 Ford F-250 and F-350
Great hitch and fit great with a Tommy Gate (needed it to drop low enough to clear.) It needed either a little trim or in my case I just moved it forward about 3/4". If you follow the rivet as a guide, it is very easy to get this in the right spot for install and you will need to drill some holes. Wish it was 2" versus 2.5". Not very many options for hitches that allow you to retain the spare tire and drop far enough. Etrailer had the best price and quick delivery.

2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Installed on my 1994 F-350 dually. Used in my stump grinding business to tow a 24ft deck over tilt bed trailer loaded with a tractor and stump grinder. Loaded trailer is 11,000 lbs. Very happy with this hitch.

Ford F-250 Super Duty
Well made hitch. Great product! Very heavy and all welded construction.
Drilling is required for the hitch to mount to the frame of the truck. (94 F250 in my case)
Had some issue with hitch being bent when it was delivered, However etrailer made good on the damaged product.

The hitch was great and what I wanted. Four of the small holes lined up good and had to drill the other four holes. The only down size was the big hole that was too clear a ribbon on the frame on either side was a half inch off front to back so I had to modify a little bit to mount flat to the frame. Overall that took the most time and the rest was easy to install.

I ordered a reciever that was very large and heavy. I was extremely amazed on how fast I recived it. I got my new reciever in 6 days from the time that I ordered it. Super happy and super impressed. The box was damaged, but me reciever and all the parts were in there secure. Will be oredering all my supplies from etrailer.com. Thank you for the very speedy delivery.
