2007 Chevrolet Uplander

The main reason I bought this was to carry the family bicycles without taking up room inside the van on our camping trips. Right after I ordered, I got an email saying it was out of stock in the main warehouse. I paid for 3 day shipping, and they still found it and got it to me in three days. While watching my three toddlers, I was still able to install it in under 45 minutes. I would highly recommend this hitch to anyone. It was extremely easy to install.

Thank you for the email. I havent had a single problem with either of those two items. The hitch is on a minivan, so I dont do a whole lot of towing, but its so nice to have the capability without the expense of a truck. With the hitch being so easy to install, 1 person in less than 45 minutes, I will definitely be buying my trailer products from etrailer.

by:

It's about time someone put some thought into ease of installation during the product development. The only way it would have been easier to install is if the hitch installed itself! Very pleased with the results.

2004 Pontiac Montana

Got my hitch receiver in 3 days. I was dealing with tennis elbow and was worried about lifting it into position. I used some long bolts to hold it up. Everything fit perfect! Awesome engineering!

by:

This hitch fit my vehicle perfectly and I had it installed in about 20 minutes. I would definitely buy from this company again. This was the best deal I could find, the shipping was fast and the customer service has been great.

2007 Chevrolet Uplander

I installed this hitch on a 2007 Uplander LS without the benefit of a) a lift or b) any help. It was a 'piece of cake'! My only problem was one with the vehicle - when the right side of the car was welded to the rear component, the match was not exact and the right side frame hole used by the hitch was not totally open. It took about 5 minutes to 'ream' it out and that was the extent of the problem.

Great, it only took an hour or so to install-fit the vehicle perfectly.

2007 Pontiac Montana SV6

Installed very easily, the on-line installation video was a big help, and as others have mentioned about the fish wire for the bolts, that was a major part of how easily the hitch went on. Has been on the vehicle about a year, despite weather and road salt, no rust has shown up anywhere on the hitch. The plug-in 4-wire trailer light harness also was a breeze - the slowest part of that was deciding where in the body to secure the wires.

by:

I love that hitch. It was precise fit for my older Chevy Uplander. And I installed the hitch by myself without having any mechanic skills. The instructions Installation video provided on the e-trailer website is amazing. Watched it couple times and I was able to bolt the hitch on the mini van in less than 45 min (without power tools or Jack). Outstanding craftsmanship of the hitch. Precise fit. Easy to order and delivery took less than 48 hours. Next I’ll buy electric bike carrier from e-trailer. They have it all you need for your towing needs. Definitely recommend and absolutely will buy from them again.

2005 Saturn Relay

Great product. Installed on a 2005 Saturn Relay. Very solid construction. No welding required, 8 bolt mounts hold this receiver firmly in place, all using existing factory locations. 2 additional mounts on the side of the receiver for the exhaust mount make it easy for later exhaust work without unbolting the hitch receiver.

Delivery was free at the time of my purchase, but I opted for 3-5 day UPS delivery. This and the associated hitch and ball were shipped within the same business day and arrived 2 days later, for a total of 3 business days. I do live near the origin site, so expect longer shipping depending on your location.

Available instructions were sufficient, but the online videos available on the etrailer site were a pleasant addition.

Thank you, etrailer.com. Great products, competitive pricing, fast order processing and shipping. Will recommend you to others.

2006 Saturn Relay

I decided on this hitch receiver because of the no drill Install. It's not a hidden receiver, but to me it has a low profile and looks nice on our van. I watched the install videos and cleaned up the mounting points on my frame before receiving this item. This made the install even smoother. My friend pointed me to etrailer.com, and now I will do the same! Customer service was awesome, thank you Madison H. If I ran a business this would be the type of service I would expect my customers to receive. A+ Products A+ Service!

Installed a year ago. Easy installation just as shown in the video and no problems since.

2008 Chevrolet Uplander

The hitch fit perfectly. I really appreciate that you included the fish wire with the hardware. It made the installation wonderfully easy. I watched the video that was on the page with the hitch and everything was smooth and easy. Wonderful job! I'm satisfied.
And very grateful

2007 Pontiac Montana

Product arrived as promised. I have a 2007 Buick Terraza so I watched the 2006 Pontiac Montana video. I was totally surprised when I followed the steps this hitch went on perfect just like the video showed. The old bolts were a little tough to get out because of the rust on them. Other than that problem installation took me about one hour. It also looks great too.

by:

Price and shipping was great

by:
2007 Chevrolet Uplander

It was easy to put on, had to have my wife help hold one side up so I can put the first bolt in. This is the second hitch I got from here and when I get another car will get another hitch.

by:

The hitch got delivered before the shipping notice arrived!! Perfect fit and finish (as usual) Had to change wrenches a lot as both metric and inch sizes in use. With cleaning rust and restoring threaded holes and painting around, reality install time (working alone) about 3 hrs, incl. wiring.

by:

Hitch installed just as easily as the video on the etrailer website showed. Install time of about 45 minutes only because my van has the air compressor bracket that needs to be trimmed.

by:
2006 Chevrolet Uplander

Very easy install on a 2006 Uplander. Worked great for the rear hitch bike rack I have.

by:
2009 Chevrolet Uplander

Good value and quality. Curt Hitch and Tekonsha harness fit perfectly. Instruction videos made things go a lot easier. Liked not having to drill frame.

by:
2005 Buick Terraza

Good heavy quality hitch and installed just as the instructions directed. It did take me a little longer due to the compressor in my van but for a 70 year old with a bad shoulder two hours is not too bad.

by:

Low prices great service and fast delivery. Will order from e trailer again.

The hitch arrived quickly. The hitch is very high quality.

No problems. I have pulled trailers and used it to haul bikes. It is a heavy duty hitch.

by:

Installation was simple and this is a quality product. I am using for our StarCraft Pop-Up camper and I have been very satisified with this vendor; I highly recomend this product and vendor.

by:

Great service. Received my product in less time than told. Easy installation thanks to the helpful video. E-trailer is the best!

by:

I recieved my hitch much sooner than I expected. Installation was very easy.Took me only 30 min. {and I am 72 years old} took longer to gather the tools than to do the job. Thanks so much for a great product and lighting fast service.I will be ordering again.
Thank you, Bud O'Neal

  • How to Measure for Rise or Drop Needed to Tow Trailer Level with 2006 Saturn Relay
to measure for the correct rise or drop needed to tow a trailer level the hitch will have to first be installed. When it is make sure your 2006 Saturn Relay and trailer are on level ground. On the vehicle, measure from the ground up to the top of the receiver opening. On the trailer, make sure that it is level and measure from the ground up to the bottom of the coupler. If the vehicle is higher the difference between the 2 measurements is the amount of drop you will need. If the trailer...

  • Is Hardware Included with Curt Hitch for 2007 Chevy Uplander
All of the necessary hardware is included with the Curt hitch # 13336. All of our hitches include the hardware unless it's designed to use the vehicle's existing hardware; which is not the case with # 13336. With that being said, if you ever need replacement hardware we do carry kits using part # RHK. On the product page you choose the hitch manufacturer from the drop down and enter the hitch's part number and you'll receiver the exact same hardware originally included with that particular...

  • Trailer Hitch, Ball Mount, Hitch Ball, and Trailer Wiring for a 2009 Chevy Uplander
I spoke with my contact at Curt and she stated that, technically, Chevy stopped making an Uplander for the US market in 2008 so there is no 2009 model. They did continue to make them for the Canadian market which is why the Tech Tip states the hitch is for that market. However, she stated that as long as your 2009 Uplander has the 121 inch wheelbase, the Curt Hitch, # 13336 will fit. If yours does not have a 121 inch wheelbase, or you are not certain, she stated you could use Curt Hitch...

  • Trailer Hitch And 7 Pin Wiring Setup For A 2008 Chevy Uplander
We can definitely set you up. For a trailer hitch for your 2008 Chevy Uplander we do have a no drill option # 13336. This will only fit models with the 121" wheel base. If you do not have the 121" wheel base I recommend the # 13344, which will require some drilling. Both hitches are rated for 4,000 lbs towing and 400 tongue weight. For your 7 pin round plug trailer wiring and brake controller, you will need the following parts. T-One Wiring Harness # 118396 Universal Install Kit # ETBC7 Prodigy...

  • Is the Full Size Spare Replaced Under the 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6 After # 13336 Hitch Installation
Yes, the full size spare will need to be lowered to provide access to the hitch attachment points, but will fit back into its original location after installation of the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, item # 13336. You will need to Lower the spare tire from its storage location. It will be put back in place after hitch is installed. I have included a link to the instructions for this hitch for you to review. We also have a installation video showing the installation of this hitch for you...

  • Hitch, Wiring and Ball Mount Kit for 2007 Chevrolet Uplander Towing Multiple Trailers
If your 2007 Chevrolet Uplander has the 121-inch wheel base then the easiest hitch install will come with the Curt 2-inch Class III hitch # 13336 since this option is a no-drill install. This hitch and the 1-1/4-inch Curt # C12336 are the only such no-drill hitches offered. If your Uplander does not have this 121-inch wheel base then the option I suggest is the Draw-Tite # 75278 which does require drilling but costs less than others. Written instructions for all referenced hitches are...
