Today, we're going to be taking a look at the tow-ready trailer hitch receiver lock for 2.5 inch hitches. Part number TR63252. This hitch lock will allow you to secure your accessories into your class 4 or 5 hitch. It's very easy to pop on. Just push the pin through. Put on the lock. Push the button.
You've got it. When you're ready to remove it, it's just as easy. Use 1 of the 2 included keys. Unlock it. Take it off. It features a rubber gasket to keep dirt and debris from getting inside the lock as well as the dust cover to keep dirt and debris from getting inside the lock core. It's made with a stainless steel construction with a chrome plating. It's going to be durable and resist rust and corrosion.
It has a 3.5 inch span with a 5/8 pin diameter. That's going to complete our look at the tow-ready trailer hitch receiver lock for 2.5 inch hitches. Part number TR63252.

Does its job. The key is persnikity about going into the key hole which make for a small battle sometimes but over all a good product.

I opted to use the straight lock just because it is cleaner looking. It is as good as the straight pin, I just liked the looks of the of tjhe straight vs bent.

Looks like its great quality and is competitively priced, Will be used on the hitch of my Ram 3500.
It looked nice fit nice but on our first trip I couldn’t get it off after unlocking it. The locking pin bent. I though get I would have to cut it off but used a hammer to finish the job. Was hauling a 9,000lb TT. I used a Ford class V pin for the way home. Doesn’t lock but worked like a charm.
I drive a 2015 Ford F250. Using the OEM reduction sleeve to drop down to a 2 inch shank was causing problems. I was bending class five hitch pins. After bending my third pin I was anxious to find another solution. This product has been terrific. All the play has been taken out... leaving a very solid trailer to truck connection and no more bent pins.
Locking the hitch pin is very easy but unlocking it can be difficult. My pin is located about 8 inches under the car from the back bumper. Trying to get the small key in the end of the pin to unlock it is quite hard making it difficult to unlock.
