Secure Leverlock system ensures that the coupler locks in place on hitch balls measuring 1-7/8", 2" and 50 mm on this corrosion-resistant actuator. Designed for disc brake applications.
Features:
Specs:
When you apply the brakes in your tow vehicle, deceleration occurs and momentum pushes your trailer toward the rear of your vehicle. With surge brake systems, the actuator is triggered as your trailer moves forward while the tow vehicle slows. The actuator telescopes, applying force to its master cylinder, which in turn supplies the necessary hydraulic pressure to engage the trailer's brakes.

Today, were going to take a quick look at the Titan zinc plated lever lock brake actuator for disc trailer brakes, part number T47154007K. This coupler is made out of steel and finished in a zinc plating to help protect against corrosion.A hydraulic actuator is designed to help your trailer brakes work in sync with your vehicle brakes. As you brake in the vehicle, the trailer will push forward against the ball sliding this half of the actuator inside and activating a master cylinder that applies brake pressure on the trailer. Well go over more on how that system works in a minute when we take a look underneath. Up top, youll find the latching system. Its designed to work with 1-7/8, 2-inch, and 50-millimeter balls.
Youll have to work underneath to adjust the bolt to fit those balls properly.Theres a securing pin here that we can remove to operate the latch. It is attached with a coated steel cable to make sure you dont lose this pin. On top, theres another cable, and this is for our breakaway system. You would connect this end of the cable to your tow vehicle, and if the trailer were to separate from the vehicle as this line goes taut, itll pull this lever activating the trailer brakes and bringing it to a stop. It has a latch wedge system here where youll pull the trigger latch, open the handle to undo the wedge underneath.
Right now, were in the closed position, release the trigger, open the latch and the wedge comes open. We can then fit in our 1-7/8, or this is a 2-inch or even a 50-millimeter ball and secures it.From below, we can see the braking system. Theres a ram that connects to a master cylinder and will connect back here to our brake line on our trailer. Again, as you brake and the trailer leans against the tow vehicle the system pressurizes and applies pressure to your trailers disc brakes. This is a bolt-on design coupler thats designed to bolt to tongues that are 3 inches wide.
Theres our inside dimension of 3 inches. Up top is the cap for our fill reservoir. You want to make sure, when you install this system that you do bleed the brakes so that it operates both left and right hand side properly. Its a bolt-on unit with a pair of boltholes on either side that measure 3 inches center on center. The coupler has a gross trailer weight capacity of 7,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight on 700 pounds. Titan manufactures this actuator here in the USA, and covers it with a 1-year warranty.
Thats it for our quick look at the Titan zinc plated lever lock brake actuator for disc trailer brakes, part number T47154007K .

The coupler was a replacement for an identical one on which the brake master cylinder had seized. The replacement is working fine.
