Speaker 1: We're going to take a look at the K Source, passenger side, custom, flip-out, electric towing mirror with the heated function. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1998-2002 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks. On a custom-fit part I always recommend for you to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, it'll show you if this will work for your application.Now, this is an extendable towing mirror that'll replace the factory side mirror on your vehicle. No need for any snap on, or strap on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off. The flip out function makes it very easy for you to see around the side of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass and park.
Basically, when you rotate the mirror face to the outside, it extends your line of sight by about four and a half inches. And then just push the mirror back into place when you're not towing.This is a power mirror adjustment, so it lets you change your mirror face positions with the factory control inside your vehicle. And it is a heated mirror glass which will quickly clear fog, frost, and ice. Up here has the built in spotter mirror, to reduce blind spots. It is a hinged design so that allows the mirror to fold up against your vehicle for parking, or for fitting into tight spaces.It is a nice textured, black plastic housing.
It again, is custom-fit for your vehicle. It's a simple no drill installation, uses the factory connection, right here for the electric and the heat function, has the same footprint and same mounting points as the factory mirror, comes with the hardware that's needed to install it. This is the passenger side mirror only.A few specs on this, the mirror face, width on it is going to be right at 10 inches. The height on it is right at seven inches tall. Overall length when it's like in this position is from here to here is 17.5 inches, when you flip it out to the extended or rotated out position, from here to here is going to be 22 inches.
The blind spot mirror width on that is going to be right about three and a half inches. This is Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard approved. One last note on this mirror, what I do want to let you know is that you cannot upgrade to a power mirror with a heated face if your OEM mirror is not already equipped with those functions.But that should do it for the review on the K Source, passenger side, custom, flip out electric towing mirror with the heated function.
Excellent product and easy to install!
This mirror only moves three of the four directions it does not work. I need to return it but I’m leaving on a trip so I’ll have to wait till I get back to send it back to you

I needed new mirrors for my Dodge pickup. After looking online I found many available at much less cost than these from etrailer. However, after reading negative reviews, most had problems with vibration or fitment. I decided to buy from a company that specializes in trailer and towing equipment for two reasons: One, I was thinking that their products are probably more suitable for the intended use, and, two, I was hoping that if there was a problem they would be inclined to resolve it. I ordered the passenger side mirror first to see if it was satisfactory. It was, so I ordered and installed the other mirror.
I am very pleased with this product and with the vendor that sold it. Delivery was very prompt and etrailer has contacted me numerous times via email regarding receipt of order, shipping information and feedback on the order. I recommend these mirrors and recommend the etrailer company. I will purchase items from this company in the future.

Not very difficult installation, even for us senior citizens ! They work so well that I wish we had done it years ago.
Product was 1/3 priced higher than other vendors did not match factory foot print for mount. You cant tell from the outside but is very obvious from the inside looks horrible. It also vibrates quite a bit while traveling which makes for a very difficult clear view and in rain or fog is downright dangerous!
While researching these mirrors, I was worried they wouldn’t correct for orientation, but I’m happy to say they do. They work exactly the way I was hoping. Each mirror knows what orientation it is in, so pushing “up” on the control inside is “up” on the mirrors in both normal/horizontal AND towing/vertical positions.
I was concerned about replacing the mirror myself but since doing so the mirror has been flawless. Im thankful I made etrailer my choice.
Just like factory oem mirrors. Wide enough to see around wide trailer. The wide angle secondary mirrors are on the top side while the mirrors are in the narrow position, but are in the lower corners when the mirrors are in the extended position. I leave them in the extended position even while not towing
Very easy to install. Note you will have to readjust the mirror position between retracted and extended, easy with electric motor remote control.
The mirrors work great actually better than I expected. It took less than 30 minutes to install the pair and I have 0 blind spots and the visibility towing my 36' 5th Wheel is awesome.
