Today we're going to be taking a look at the K Source Custom Flip-Out Towing Mirror for the passenger side of your vehicle. This product fits a 2009-2013 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500, 2010-2012 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 and 3500, both the Dodge and the Ram versions of those trucks. The extendable towing mirror is going to replace the factory side view mirror of your vehicle. What that does is that eliminates the need for a snap-on or strap-on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off, and also keep track of. This is fully installed. It's all-inclusive, so it's got a flip-out function that makes it easy to see around the side of your trailer. That way you can safely and easily change lanes, pass and park. All you have to do is grab the inner part of the mirror and then rotate it to the outside.
That's going to extend the line of sight by about 3 3/4 of an inch, so it really does make a difference. It helps. When you're done with it in this position, all you've got to do is right here on the top corner, push it back into place when you're not towing. On the outside edge it's going to have the built-in spotter mirror. That's going to reduce blind spots. The unit where it mounts right here, this is a hinged design.
That allows you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tighter spaces. It's also got the breakaway design, so it will fold in and it will fold away from the vehicle, so if it's hit from the front or the rear, it will fold to help deter or prevent permanent breakage. When it comes to adjusting the mirror face, that is a manual adjustment, so you just push in on the corners or the sides to achieve the angle you want of the main mirror and the spotter mirror here on the side. This is custom fit for the vehicles that I mentioned earlier. It's going to feature a textured black plastic housing, a nice strong durable design and it looks really sleek from the back. It's going to look like an OEM fit. It uses that same material, so it's going to look really nice on the truck. It's a simple no-drill installation.
Right here you can see the mounting points. It's going to have the 3 studs. Each stud's going to come with a nut on it . Simple no-drill installation. It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror.
Again, this is for the passenger side of the vehicle. It is FMVSS approved. I want to take some time to go over a few measurements with you real quick. If we take a look at the mirror face dimensions, so what we're doing is basically just taking a measurement of that large mirror here at the front, just the main mirror. That's going to be about 7 11/16 of an inch wide. Measuring the height, that's going to be about 7 1/8 inch tall. This one over here, the blind mirror or the spotter mirror to reduce blind spots . That's going to have a width of about 3 1/4 inches and then the height's going to be the same as the main mirror. With it in this position, if we take a measurement from outer edge to this back part here where it mounts, coming straight out, that's going to give us a measurement of about 20 3/4 inches. If we extend the mirror out, so if we flip it up and out that way, if we do that same measurement, that's going to give it an overall length from this back corner to the outer edge of about 24 1/2 inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the K Source Custom Flip-out Towing Mirror for the passenger side.

They are fading pretty bad even after always cleaning them and regularly washing and coating.

These mirrors are great, very good quality and fit very well. I tried some from other sites and they did not fit properly and the quality was not good. I highly recommend these mirrors.
I have enjoyed having these mirrors vs the stock non extending ones. They have increased my visibility greatly.
I do wish I had opted for the ones with power but it’s not a must. I would buy them again.
