When you need to grab your gear or make room for bigger loads, the tri-fold setup makes it easy. Just lift the rear panel at the tailgate for quick access, or fold up the rear and center sections to open two-thirds of the bed. When folded, it stays securely in place so you can drive without removing it.
A lot of covers require tools or extra parts that can get lost. This one doesn’t. The hardware is built right into the cover, so there are no separate bolts or rails left behind. Spring-loaded clamps make installation and removal quick—no drilling or tools needed.
Rain and road grime can ruin what’s in your bed if your cover doesn’t seal well. The full perimeter rubber seal keeps water out and prevents leaks, even through storms and car washes. With the tailgate closed and locked, everything underneath stays dry and secure.

That’s actually a pretty common thing with soft tonneau covers like this. When the temperature rises, the vinyl naturally expands, which can cause it to sag a bit in certain spots. It’s not a defect or anything like that, just the way the material reacts to heat. Unfortunately, there isn’t much that can be done to prevent it, especially in hotter climates, but the cover will still do its job of protecting your truck bed. Speaking of which, what do you keep in your bed?

Thanks for your feedback Eric and we apologize that was your experience, The Extang E-series is designed with weather seals and generally does a good job keeping water out during normal rain and driving conditions but like most soft folding tonneau covers, it is not completely waterproof. Going through a car wash, especially one with high pressure sprays or brushes could cause water to seep in around the seals or tailgate area. Touchless washes are usually safer than brush style washes for soft covers like this.
