The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we're doing a test fit of the WeatherTech front floor mats, part number WT454851. That's gonna use the color tan. They're also available in black, part number WT444851, and grey, part number WT464851. So here's what our mat looks like when it's installed. As you can see, it perfectly contours to the side of our floor here. It even reaches up under our gas and brake pedals there. It extends over our threshold here, and it also has channels to keep any dirt, debris, or liquid away from your feet.
It's got a molding for those tie-down points there, so it's going to keep your mat in place. Now we'll show you how to install it here on the passenger side. First we'll take out our old floor mat. Get our new floor mat, and set it in place, and then we'll secure it on those tie-down points. Now here on the side, we have a gap between the vehicle and the floor mat. As it sits in the sun and sits in your car longer, it's gonna fit more comfortably against the sides there, and contour to them. It's got many of the same features. It does go up under the dash here, it's got the same channels for debris and liquids, and it also has those tie-down points. Now, these floor mats are easy to clean.
You simply remove them and wash them with soap and water. Either hang them to dry, or wipe them clean. And that's gonna complete our look in the install of our WeatherTech front floor mats, part number WT454851, on our 2015 Dodge Durango.
