When you’re driving through deep snow or dealing with icy climbs, these grooved square links make all the difference. The grooves cut in and grab harder than standard square or round links, giving you confident traction when conditions get slick. The ladder pattern keeps your forward drive steady so you can pull through snowdrifts and icy patches without spinning out.
Putting chains on in the cold is never fun, but the assisted tensioning system makes it straightforward. Just twist the built-in cams with the included tool, and the chains pull tight around your tires. The design lets you secure them without a long struggle, even when snow is falling fast. Add rubber adjusters (sold separately) for an even snugger fit and peace of mind once you’re rolling.
These chains are made from nickel manganese alloy steel that’s case hardened for extra strength and durability. The hard outer layer resists wear and corrosion while the inner core handles stress and shock from rough winter driving. You can count on them to hold up in repeated use through snow, slush, and ice season after season.
Instead of wearing down one side of your chains, simply flip them over when they start to show wear. The reversible design means both sides can take the load, effectively doubling their usable life. With a little care—like drying them before storage—you’ll get reliable performance for many winters to come.
Whether you’re gearing up for mountain driving or keeping a set ready for emergency traction, this pair covers a wide range of tire sizes from 15" to 22-1/2". The flexibility means you can have one dependable set ready whenever winter weather hits hard.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the pewag All Square 5.6 millimeter Snow Tire Chains. These are gonna be a ladder pattern style chain, so they're gonna be a little more rough of a ride than the diagonal or diamond pattern chains, but that's not a huge deal, these aren't gonna be the roughest ride of all of them though, there are some all square snow tire chains that are a little bit bigger, these are 5.6 millimeters linked thick, so these are relatively larger, but not as big as they can go, so they're gonna get you a decent amount of traction, and these are gonna be less traction than some of the V-bar style chains. These do have a little bit stronger steel material, it's manganese nickel alloy, some of them are low carbon steel, so these are definitely winning when it comes to how hard and how strong they are, so they should last a long time. And one thing I like about it is just the cam tensioners, they really do help get a really nice fit on the chain, so that is something to kinda think about, just because as treads start to kinda go down, sometimes the diameter of your tire changes ever so slightly, so with the cam tensioners, you can be confident that they're as tight as they can be, so they're not gonna fall off or anything and damage the vehicle. These won't damage your wheels, so notice how we have a very large amount of gap between the chain and our rims, so even if we we're in very, very thick, heavy snow where it's pushing in on the side walls, it's not gonna go and scratch our wheels, that's something I look at, just because these are nice and I wanna keep them nice, so you don't have to worry about that with these. If you wanna put these on just the back wheels of whatever vehicle you may have, you can do that, it does come in a pack of two, but if you do wanna put it on the front wheel as well, you're gonna have to grab two of these.
So they have a pretty big bag and it's not a canvas bag, so it is not gonna rip near as easily, so that's a good thing. There's plenty of room in the bag too to get all the chains in there, so you don't have to worry about just kinda having to stuff stuff in. A lot of times, when you get products, sometimes, they don't get packaged up as nice and neatly as they did before, but with these, they have plenty of room in this bag. But once it's all in there, it's about this size, it'll fit underneath your backseat or in your toolbox, whatever you have going on on your vehicle. But when it comes to these, I think they're gonna be a pretty good option for you.
And that's pretty much it for a look at the pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains with cam tensioners..
