When the roads glaze over with ice, these V-Bar links go to work. Each stud digs in to break through the slick surface, giving you grip and control when it matters most. The ladder-style cross chain setup helps you start and stop smoothly on icy or packed snow surfaces, so steep grades and frozen patches don’t slow you down.

In heavy or drifted snow, the low-carbon steel twist links form solid cross chains that cut through buildup and keep traction steady. Their design sheds snow fast, keeping the bite consistent as you climb through deep sections. It’s a setup built to handle those long, snow-covered drives where you need confident, steady pull without slippage.
Tightening your chains is quick thanks to the integrated cam system. Just turn each cam with the wrench to draw the chain tight around your tires. The adjustment holds solid and won’t work loose as you drive. For extra hold, you can add rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately).
Every link is made from low-carbon steel for strength and durability through season after season. The 0.281" (7 mm) links stand up to abrasion from ice and road grit, keeping their shape and bite even after hard use. Each set includes chains for both sides of one axle and a reusable canvas storage bag for easy transport and storage.
These chains are all about traction when the conditions turn bad. Rated for up to 30 mph and sized for 15" – 22-1/2" tires, they’re the right tool for getting reliable grip in deep snow and on icy surfaces. Whether you’re climbing to a mountain cabin or pulling out of a drift, they’re ready to keep you moving with secure traction you can trust.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Adam: Hi everyone. Adam, etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan chain, snow tyre chains. So this does have a V bar style link, which is going to be the more aggressive style of your snow tyre chains. This is going to wear down a little bit more than some of your square shaped links, but it is going to give you superior traction to all of those. It may be a little rougher ride, but this is definitely going to get you out of those snowy or icy situations.
So this is going to be a ladder-pattern style tyre chain. Also, it is going to be made of a low carbon steel construction. It's going to last a decently long time and resist against rust and corrosion. Whenever you have these on, it's probably going to be soft on the roads. So having a nice, solid metal is definitely going to help it wear away. So, these do come in a pack of two, which have a decently sturdy canvas bag.
So for your all wheel drive and four wheel drive applications, you can just grab two sets on etrailer.com and it's going to be the same exact installation process on all four of your tyres. So the first thing we're going to want to do is lay out our chains and make sure there's no kinks in our links. Also, something to note, we want to make sure that the V-Bar is going to be facing out away from our tyre, and the open end here is going to be facing out as well. Once all that's done, we can try to grab the middle of our chains and drape them over our tyre. We'll make sure we get it nice and even. So now that we're back here, we're going to take our spare links here and our hook.
We're going to find a chain. I want to do the second closest, and then we're going to go around front and complete the connection. So around front, we're going to take our metal portion here, put it through a link and bend it over like so, it connects it to our spare link here. Now we can take our cam tensioner tool, put it into place and rotate this around to get that desired tightness. We don't have to do all of them, but I am going to do two here. We do have about four on this kit.
That should be pretty tight. So these cams did do a pretty good job at getting these chains nice and tight. And I only use two of them. There's two more that I could tighten down if we needed to get a little bit tighter, but if you want that added security and comfort, you can go on etrailer.com and purchase some of these rubber tensioners. And all you really need to do is just have the hooks facing out away from your tyres and then go on a diamond or star-pattern just across from each other to get them installed. That's something that you would like to have with your tyre chains. They don't come with them, but, we do sell them here at etrailer.com. Well, everyone, thanks for tuning in and taking a look at Titan chain, snow tyre chains..

The shipping speed was amazing! There was no delay from the time I ordered until I was notified that it had been shipped. Wish all companies could be like this!
Product was fine, but i never used it. Etrailer however deserves 5 stars.
They are fine if your not trying to pull a trailer. With pressure the the cross links pull apart.
Can’t say enough about these guys, even though delivery took tad longer than expected communication from etrailer team was on point from start to finish.
Thanks to etrailer team i know me and my family are safe no matter what weather conditions we have to go through.
I could never use the chains. One dual side had cams missing on one side and obviously would not work. When I bought them, I just place them in my carry crates and discovered they would fit.... During a snowstorm. Serious bummer.
I went on live chat before I made my selection, good thing I did! They pointed me in the direction for my needs, very helpful! Fast shipping,my order was shipped the same day! I have not installed chains yet,but they look to be top quality.
These snow chains were easy to install. Provided excellent traction!
Shipping was great. The girl on the phone said they didn't have any chains for my vehicle. I asked if they had them for my tire size and she said no. After looking through 8 pages of chains and tire sizes I found the ones that would fit.
Got my order today, looks like a very good set of snow chains! More heavy duty than I expected, so should work great!! My order arrived in a very timely manner, will definitely order from here again. Very pleased with the whole transaction, price, quality and speed of shipping.
First off shipping was very quick they had my chains packaged and out the same day, which means great work ! Item was recieved in 2 days
For the chains they did what I needed iv got a 2wd dually and sometimes out here in the snow requires some tricks I had no tricks left when it came to incline up a icy snow hill with a 40ft fifth wheel I was able to slowly pull trailer with out slipping ..nothing seemed to break at 5mph about 300 yards
Great customer service and the tire chains are bomber! I have recommended
"etrailer" to a number of friends.
To the unfamiliar don’t wait till your stuck to put the chains on. Some of us are slow learners, just saying. The dual tire chains known as “ triples” are tuff to connect the center chain. However the cam lock tighteners are the way to go. I’m 62 and living in Maine. I’ve used tire chains every winter plowing snow or traveling to my favorite ice fishing spot. These chain are superior because of the v bar cross links and the cam lock tightener. I wish they had been available years ago! Highly recommend but don’t take my word on it. Try them on for your vehicle you won’t regret it!
The chains were too big for my tires, even though they were listed as compatible. This resulted in them banging up the wheel well of my truck, even though I added tensioners.
I got the snow chains for my 2005 Chevy Express 3500 Class C RV, its a Dual wheel rear. It worked perect. A little cumbersome to put on but MUCH easier than I expected, also being my first time putting on chains ever.
I went thru spots 4x4s were getting a tow from the Forest Ranger.
Great product and as all my previous exprience with etrailer - GREAT Company to deal with. Wish I had taken some pics.
I got these ice breaker snow chains for my tow truck - I pull a large fifth wheel and plan to travel the country - During the winter when traveling from New England to the southwest "With The Other Sun Birders" - I need to be prepared for any ice or snow storm to get myself safely off the road in an emergency - This is cheep insurance and would not feel safe without the capability of getting myself to a safe place to wait the storm out - Your service was good, when my package came it only have one side - I called and you quickly sent the other side -
Great product. Fits perfectly.
Shipping was fast.
If you do any towing, do NOT order these. Completely useless. Used them for the first time this past weakened in Colorado and the links broke(we kept it under 25 mph!!!). Despite pulling over immediately it destroyed the entire wheel well on one side of our dually. If you use your truck commercially and subject to Chain Laws these will not last even a couple of miles.
Just put the 4821 dually chains with cams on my truck and I'm impressed with the ease of installation. Tested them out on an icy hill and snow on top too...AWESOME CHAINS! They look as though they'll hold up well.
Thank you Nicole R. at etrailer for your assistance. ;)
