These chains are built for serious winter conditions where ice and packed snow make the road nearly impassable. The V-bar studs dig into the surface to give you grip you can count on, cutting through slick layers where standard links would just slide. The ladder pattern helps you get moving from a stop and stay in control when braking or turning on icy grades.

When the snow piles up, the low-carbon steel twist links form firm cross chains that dig deep and keep your tires biting. They’re tough enough to handle deep powder and rural roads where traction is hard to find. The 0.218" (5.5 mm) links are the right mix of strength and flexibility for confident winter driving without feeling bulky or loose.
Once the chains are on, a quick turn of the built-in cams pulls everything snug. You don’t have to fight with loose links or stop to retighten after a short drive. Just twist the cams with the included wrench and you’re ready to roll. For extra security, you can add optional rubber or chain adjusters to fine-tune the tension and keep things locked down.
These chains are made from strong, low-carbon steel that stands up to repeated winter use. The heavy build gives them a solid feel that holds up well across multiple seasons of snow and ice. Each pair covers the dual tires on one side of your rear axle, so with two chains you’re ready for the road. And when the job’s done, they pack neatly into the included reusable canvas storage bag.
With a maximum speed rating of 30 mph and a design made for deep snow and ice, these chains deliver dependable performance when the weather turns rough. They’re made for on-road winter driving where traction matters most, giving you the confidence to tackle steep climbs and slick descents without hesitation.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Adam: Hi everyone. Adam, etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan chain, snow tyre chains. So this does have a V bar style link, which is going to be the more aggressive style of your snow tyre chains. This is going to wear down a little bit more than some of your square shaped links, but it is going to give you superior traction to all of those. It may be a little rougher ride, but this is definitely going to get you out of those snowy or icy situations.
So this is going to be a ladder-pattern style tyre chain. Also, it is going to be made of a low carbon steel construction. It's going to last a decently long time and resist against rust and corrosion. Whenever you have these on, it's probably going to be soft on the roads. So having a nice, solid metal is definitely going to help it wear away. So, these do come in a pack of two, which have a decently sturdy canvas bag.
So for your all wheel drive and four wheel drive applications, you can just grab two sets on etrailer.com and it's going to be the same exact installation process on all four of your tyres. So the first thing we're going to want to do is lay out our chains and make sure there's no kinks in our links. Also, something to note, we want to make sure that the V-Bar is going to be facing out away from our tyre, and the open end here is going to be facing out as well. Once all that's done, we can try to grab the middle of our chains and drape them over our tyre. We'll make sure we get it nice and even. So now that we're back here, we're going to take our spare links here and our hook.
We're going to find a chain. I want to do the second closest, and then we're going to go around front and complete the connection. So around front, we're going to take our metal portion here, put it through a link and bend it over like so, it connects it to our spare link here. Now we can take our cam tensioner tool, put it into place and rotate this around to get that desired tightness. We don't have to do all of them, but I am going to do two here. We do have about four on this kit.
That should be pretty tight. So these cams did do a pretty good job at getting these chains nice and tight. And I only use two of them. There's two more that I could tighten down if we needed to get a little bit tighter, but if you want that added security and comfort, you can go on etrailer.com and purchase some of these rubber tensioners. And all you really need to do is just have the hooks facing out away from your tyres and then go on a diamond or star-pattern just across from each other to get them installed. That's something that you would like to have with your tyre chains. They don't come with them, but, we do sell them here at etrailer.com. Well, everyone, thanks for tuning in and taking a look at Titan chain, snow tyre chains..
