Hi everybody, Andy here with Etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Carr Hoop II aluminum custom fit sidestep. Now this is, as I mentioned, custom fit. So it's going to fit a variety of year, make, and model vehicle. So before you put this in your cart, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at Etrailer. Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and answer any other questions that it might have for you, and then our fit guide will do the work of confirming if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Something else I wanted to mention right off the top here is I just have a single step here, but you can either get this as a pair or just this single step. So whichever quantity is going to work best for you, just take the appropriate part number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to the quantity that you're looking for, and you can add that to your order. So this is a stylish, heavy duty step that's designed to make getting in and out of your vehicle a whole lot safer. This step is going to give you a wide flat platform with a non-slip diamond tread, so you're gonna be able to feel stable and secure, even in those wet or muddy conditions.
So this uses a rugged hoop style design. So it's gonna give your vehicle a tough off-road look, but it's also very practical. This features a multi-mount system that's going to let the steps attach directly to your rocker panels, and then the mounting heads are going to be able to rotate, so you're gonna be able to dial in that perfect fit for your specific vehicle. So all that to say installation's gonna be pretty straightforward. It's gonna come with the zinc plated hardware that you need and instructions to guide you through that installation process.
As for durability, this step is built to last. This is made from rust-proof cast aluminum alloy and then it really has a great finish on this. This is the XK2 Chrome Zone chrome-like double powder coat finish. So I think this is gonna give it a sleek high-end finish that's also gonna help protect against wear and corrosion. So it's not polished, it's not like highly glossy, but it's kind of like a dullish matte finish.
Again, I'm a big fan of it, but despite the compact size, this is gonna support up to 500 pounds. And speaking of size, let me go ahead and find my ruler here, give you some measurements. So looking at just the overall width from end to end, lining that up as best as I can here so you can see, looks like we're sitting pretty close overall to about 10 inches there as you can see, bring that up a little bit closer here, you can see we're right at about 10 inches overall. And then looking at just the platform itself that you're actually gonna be using to step on, about seven inches wide and about three and a half inches deep. And then this is going to give you about a five inch drop. So again, it's really gonna give you that comfortable stepping height without hanging too low. So this is going to be a great mix of function, strength, and even style. It's gonna be easy to use, but I think it's gonna be tough enough for daily driving, off-road adventures, and I think it's gonna look great no matter on what type of vehicle you secure this to. So again, you can get this just as a single step. Maybe you need a replacement, or you can get the complete set a pair of them. And again, I got those numbers there for you on your screen. They look great Jeffrey! I love the color jeep you went with, my neighbor Tammy has the same color. Do you get out and do any of that crazy cool Jeep stuff? My little brother is out in California (where I am originally from) and has done some really awesome modifications, he sends me all kinds of crazy pictures of him climbing through mountains, looks like a lot of fun!!
